Feliz fin de semana amigos amantes de la naturaleza, durante la época de sequía (enero -marzo), tuve la oportunidad de visitar un hermoso salto en el estado Bolívar, este estado destaca por sus abundantes ríos, cascadas, saltos y riachuelos, es el estado más grande en cuanto a extensión territorial se refiere, además gran parte de su territorio es bañado por las aguas del majestuoso Orinoco, el río más grande de Venezuela, este salto se ubica en el municipio cedeño se ubica en el municipio Cedeño, parroquia Los Pijiguaos, en la carretera nacional Caicara del Orinoco (capital del municipio) - Puerto Ayacucho, y se le conoce con el nombre salto y cascada Chaviripa, desde la carretera se puede observar el salto, similar a un sendero de algodón que desciende de la montaña, de acuerdo a la información suministrada por los residentes, Chaviripa es un nombre de origen indígena, una comunidad de ellos habita en la zona y son considerados los guardianes del salto.

El salto tiene una caída aproximada de 28 metros y desciende desde la montaña sobre una amplia laja de piedra, en la época de sequía se debe tener mucho cuidado y resistencia física para recorrer las rocas y lajas, que forman este salto; durante la adolescencia, tuve la oportunidad de visitar este hermoso salto en compañía de mi querida amiga, fue un un lindo recorrido, además hicimos un paseo en bote, solo que los mosquitos hicieron fiesta con nosotras, las piernas y los brazos nos quedaron literalmente rojas, de tantas picadas, pero a pesar de ello fue una gran aventura haber conocido este lugar, desde mi última visita hasta la reciente se han dado algunos cambios, pero su belleza se conserva, este lugar invita a la calma, la relajación y a disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza.
Para llegar a este encantador destino, la distancia son pocos kilómetros desde que llegas al pueblo, lo más recomendable es ir en moto y en pocos minutos ya empiezas a escuchar la caída del agua y se ven algunas rocas, varias de estas rocas tienen un llamativo color blanco, desconozco a que se debe la presencia de manchas blancas en las rocas; lo cierto es, que las manchas en las rocas tienen variados y hermosos diseños, que le dan un estilo único a este salto, el agua es fresca y durante la época de las lluvias las rocas se cubren con el agua 💧 y la cascada se ve de un hermoso color blanco.
The waterfall has an approximate drop of 28 meters and descends from the mountain over a wide stone slab, in the dry season you must be very careful and physical resistance to navigate the rocks and slabs that form this waterfall; during the dry season, I had the opportunity to visit this beautiful waterfall in the company of my dear friend, it was a nice tour, we also took a boat ride, but the mosquitoes had a party with us, our legs and arms were literally red from so many bites, but despite this, it was a great adventure to have known this place, since my last visit until the recent one, there have been some changes, but its beauty is preserved, this place invites calm, relaxation and to enjoy contact with nature.
To get to this charming destination, the distance is only a few kilometers from the moment you arrive at the town, the most advisable thing is to go by motorcycle and in a few minutes you will begin to hear the fall of the water and you will see some rocks, several of these rocks have a striking white color, I do not know what is the reason for the presence of white spots on the rocks; the truth is, the spots on the rocks have varied and beautiful designs, which give a unique style to this waterfall, the water is fresh and during the rainy season the rocks are covered with water 💧 and the waterfall looks a beautiful white color.
Visitar los espacios naturales como el salto Chaviripa, es sin duda una gran experiencia que permite alejarse del ruido de la ciudad, el dinamismo y enfocarse en admirar las grandes bellezas de la naturaleza, ver la cascada y como el agua cae en la laja es realmente relajante, las lajas son unas rocas o piedras muy grandes que se encuentran en varias zonas del estado Bolívar; muy cerca de esta cascada se encuentra también el cerro Papelón, que constituye al igual que el mencionado salto, un gran atractivo del municipio y el estado, es un área mayormente rural y excelente para relajarse y desconectar de la vida agitada en la en la urbe, para los amantes de las aventuras en la naturaleza y con buena resistencia física, este salto es ideal, pues puedes caminar por las rocas, bañarte y disfrutar una hermosa vista de la cascada.
Durante mi visita a esta hermosa cascada hicimos un pequeño pero divertido recorrido, el sol estaba bastante intenso, pero pudimos disfrutar la vista del lugar, el hermoso paisaje y el agua refrescante, definitivamente la naturaleza es asombrosa y en cada aventura o viaje, sabe como sorprendernos, la vista del lugar es realmente encantadora; la vegetación, las rocas con sus variadas formas, es un lugar perfecto para disfrutar las bondades de la naturaleza con amigos y familiares, además excelente para recargar energía, es también una linda experiencia que espero poder repetir muy pronto, el viaje es largo y vomo recompensa se puede disfrutar y admirar esta belleza natural.

During my visit to this beautiful waterfall we took a short but fun tour, the sun was quite intense, but we were able to enjoy the view of the place, the beautiful landscape and the refreshing water, nature is definitely amazing and in every adventure or trip, it knows how to surprise us, the view of the place is truly enchanting; the vegetation, the rocks with their varied shapes, it is a perfect place to enjoy the bounties of nature with friends and family, also excellent to recharge energy, it is also a nice experience that I hope to repeat very soon, the trip is long and as a reward you can enjoy and admire this natural beauty.
