All the content on cleanpng.com is either submitted to cleanpng.com by email or is readily available in various places on the Internet and believed to be in public domain. Content (including images and videos) posted are eblieved to be posted within ou rights according to hte U.S. Copyright Fair Use Act (Title 17 , U.S. Code.)

That's somewhat shaky grounds and I think the reason why they attribute a license for personal use only for all these assets - I guess they want to be on the safe side.

A public domain image is defined as a photo, clip art or vector whose copyright has expired or never existed in the first place. These images can be used by almost anyone for personal and commercial purposes.

Whatever I apologize about it now. I wont use images from their domain next time. Thanks for your information

There is really no reason to apologize. I just wanted to explain why I believe that I can't use it for the intended purpose. From a design perspective I like it very much and would use it with pleasure if a license for commercial use could be assumed.

I will soon make a call for logo proposals and define the criteria that I think need to be met.
