Welcome to a new round of Let's Make a Collage!

The LMAC community keeps growing, now counting 3115 LMACians! An amazing 111 participants supported our community prize pool with their contributions to the LMAC and the LIL during the last week. This allows us to award huge community prizes worth 88 HIVE in this round!

The LMAC Image Library (LIL) is a great resource in the LMACsphere and we will continue to accept and reward your contributions. If you would like to catch up with the LIL and its rules please start 👉 here.

❗️ We highly encourage all LMACians to use LIL assets in their collages and will provide additional rewards for doing so:

  • Set the contributor of the LIL assets used in your collage as 2% beneficiary.
  • In turn, collages using LIL-assets will be supported with a higher vote weight by our trail!

We hope that many of you will dive into the LIL to find images for your next collage.

🧑‍⚖️As our guest judge for this week please welcome community member @m16uellop! Miguel's collages scored highest in the previous two rounds of LMAC and he will thus support our standing jury in nominating the finalists of this round.

  • 📌 Any graphical element that is added to the template either needs to
    be your own original work, derive from the LIL or one of the 👉 whitelisted public domain image services!
  • 📌 Entries containing depictions of violence, political or religious themes are not accepted to the contest and will not be supported.
  • ❗️ Sources for all used materials need to be linked in your entry post. Otherwise your entry can NOT be put up for the final vote, nor will we support it with our trail vote!
  • 📌 Entries need to set the @lmac account as 20% beneficiary to receive support from our trail and to be eligible to receive contest prizes.
  • 📌 Entries need to be posted to the LMAC community.
  • 📌 NEW: A link to this post needs to be a added to the contest entry.
  • 📌 Submissions need to be linked as a comment to this post. Make sure that your collage is displayed in that comment!
  • ❗️We highly encourage all participants to use LIL assets in their collages and will provide additional rewards for doing so:

  • ❗️❗️❗️By submitting your contribution you warrant that your artwork is in your sole ownership and that is free of any copyrighted material. Every participant in the LMAC contest further agrees to hand over their artwork into the public domain and that it can be copied, modified and distributed by others, even for commercial purposes, without requiring further permission.

Good to know:

  • ❗️If you contributed 5 times to the community bonus during a three month period, you become eligible to receive the LMAC Contributor Badge for prize pool supporters. If you believe to have met this requirement, please comment to this post and provide the links for the respective 5 entries of yours.

            It will be interesting to see how the object is treated.
            The long needle to knit against the grain of nature?
            The skewer for feasting on the open fire?
            Could it be a totem for ritual dancing?
            Or simply a climbing pole to look into the future?
            I am curious.
