What Gratitude Does To You.

I will be glad to start this post by asking a rhetorical question- when was the last time you were grateful for the things you have? We are so comfortable with making complaints that we forget the need to be grateful, I understand that life may not be as perfect as we want it to be and everyday frustrating happenings may just come up but that is also not a good enough reason not to appreciate the god things that life gives to us.

Every person has had a bad day at some point in their lives and for every of this bad days we came out of, we most often forget to stay appreciative of it, bad days are constant but we always come out strong of those bad days every time, staying grateful will help us come out stronger all the time over and over again.

Negativity is a very strong power that pulls us back from being grateful for the things we need to be grateful about, gratitude is the needed positive power that can push and transform us into becoming a better person. When we decide to be negative, we fail to see positivity as they come to us, but when we choose to be grateful it will completely erase every form of negativity.

The reason why we are ungrateful most of the time is that, we have our heart fixed on those things that we want so badly and we have not been able to get, when we should rather get our minds fixed on those things that we have been able to get and become grateful for them. Ingratitude is what most likely leads to frustration and of course make people commit suicide, they have a high focus on the things they feel they should have and not on the things that they have at the moment.

This morning before you decide to push yourself into a level of frustration that is uncalled for, I want to remind you that the fact that you are able to read this post at this time is a blessing you should be grateful for, the fact that you are strong and healthy enough to eat food on your own without been controlled is another thing to be grateful about, the fact that you have spoken to your loved ones this morning and they are doing very fine is a thing you should definitely be grateful about, when you choose to remain grateful, better opportunities and more doors of favour unleash themselves to you.

Appreciation should be part of our lifestyle. There are many things that we should count as blessings in order for us to be appreciative of them. Appreciation for a good thing will open doors for bigger and better things. It is only the things that are appreciated that will increase in value.

We have allowed so much negativity into our lives that it has blinded us from seeing the things we ought to be grateful for

We should refrain from dwelling in negativity, and stay with positivity. We should make sure we take away all the thoughts of our frustrations and turned them into something to be grateful for

There is nothing more beautiful than than thanking God for all the good things that happen in our life. In life not everything is frustration, there are also things that we enjoy and for which we are happy, so there is nothing left to do but to be thankful.

Hello @ajewa I totally agree with you, we should always be grateful, this is a magic formula to enjoy the beautiful things in life, if we are attentive we can see that since we wake up we have reasons to be grateful...greetings!
