Check your vote, check your status

in Project HOPE4 years ago

Let's make this short, simple and effective. We're here to make friends, earn some crypto, have fun writing. Politics wise, I don't really sure what's going on. And suddenly, I'm being called out as I have witness votes still going on in #steem, it really doesn't feel any good. If you didn't know there's such thing, please refer to this link https://peakd.com/hive/@pfunk/a-list-of-active-hive-steem-accounts-where-the-corresponding-steem-account-is-voting-for-sham-witnesses-running-0-22-8888

If you have not read my previous post, here's the link to it. Yeah, it's in #steem. https://steempeak.com/hive-175254/@davidke20/take-some-time-to-manage-your-authority-in-steem Looks like, I will have no choice but to make the decision now. I'm just going to screw all the political decisions for the both of these chains. It's not like this was the first time I'm being screwed. I am not going to dive in to that further. In the end, I'm here to please my friends, not witnesses. Hold on a moment, after this post I'm going to do the same and remove all the witneeses in #hive as well.

So it's good to remove all the witnesses. Now I know, all the stuff I learned over the past 2 years, all the decentralized are lies. When the consensus witnesses decided something, they'll find a way to make it through. Voting is just a show, to make it more interesting and looks fascinating. I am going to take this post, and dump it back into my #steem account. As far as I know, my fellow friends in @project.hope are active in both chain, you may wanna consider to make some important decision. God knows when is the next fork, if you're voted the wrong witnesses, good chance is you'll get excluded A G A I N on the air drop.

Sort:

Hive is going to happen live steem again? WTH

Nope. I'm just saying, what if. I'm removing all my witness vote now.

Better dont! I like hive so much🤣🤣

It's just the old steem :)

No, he's talking out of his ass.
There is no "second airdrop" and no one is going to take anyone's hive stake, that's what happens on Steem.

I failed to explain in the post that I wasn't trying to start a witch hunt. There won't be any exclusion of people's stake in Hive. The actual-centralized stake of the Stinc accounts on Steem were excluded in Hive's airdrop. The scenario on Steem will not replay itself.

What I want to do is tell people on this platform who they're voting for on a similar platform, and why that may not be a good thing both ethically and for the value of their own STEEM. Why do I care about that when I'm not interested in seeing Steem grow? Because DPoS voting still matters on Hive, as does understanding the norms and culture of a decentralized blockchain community. I encourage you to read some of the comments similar to yours here and my responses. In any case, thank you for the feedback.

Thanks for stopping by, but your post is an inspiration. To not trust witnesses no more. Check the above reply from one of yours? Instead of 1 huge ass dictator Sun, now we have 20 dictators instead.

Very unfortunately while you were (rather passionately driven because of the love of HIVE) you have enabled other higher ranking Hive-ians peer to yours to have the opportunity to spew certain prejudice thoughts, and unfortunately, some extremist might actually take it as "a witch hunt".

Which is now too late to retract. Not your fault, you were emotionally driven; but not others of your peer will think the same. And we now know who they are.

Most of us still have both stakes on STEEM and HIVE, and some of us hardly withdraw unless we need to pay bills or assist someone else; hoping that with both chains (and both type of network exposures), we can see how different dynamics move, whether a centralised tyrant will win, or an unbiased healthy community (as so I have thought) will win.

But this is the nature of human isn't it? Good reminders can turned sour in the thoughts and hands of wrong powerful people too.

Wishing you all the best in life.

You could be right, staying neutral could be the best decision, especially if your stakes are high.

I am however going to just support whichever project that has a vision to make (either) chain works, because at the end of the day, many grass-root content creators really do need these blessed crypto to keep them alive.

Let's see how it goes. I really hope that in this time and age of pandemic (which I know some of those who defy it otherwise) everyone would bring their minds together to unite to keep everyone afloat from "real world tyranny outside the blockchain" with the technology that kept us going all these years.

Good for you

And thanks for taking time to reply

Most hiveans are also steemians. Pfunk is too early to open both side blockchain withnes vote case, while most hiveans are still having their asset on steemit. My @accnt is also listed on the link above. Postingan yang sangat berani pak.

And I saw you carrying a blacklist.

Yes. I sold my asset via other hivean bittrex acct bcos I do not have my own. I did not know it forbiden.
