RE: Let's talk about the @Project.HOPE banner

in Project HOPE3 years ago

Hi my friend @lupafilotaxia
This is a good point, thanks for highlighting it. The banner is part of this effort to fight plagiarism. Although we have still found users who using the banner are plagiarizing, but we have neutralized them. It is a complex job to be in this permanent fight, but we have to do it.
Thank you very much for your support.

Exactly, using the Banner is not a guarantee of honesty, as people will always look for ways to break the norm, in effect the work of thorough curation is the best method to counter plagiarism, I see the Banner more as a corporate seal that identifies the community in its fight against plagiarism and abuse.

I hadn't thought of it that way, "corporate or community seal", but it's a very good approach.

Greetings friend @josevas217

I see the banner as a kind of symbol that can identify the community, like a corporate or community seal as you mention, the truth is that the banner is already associated with Project.HOPE and that has a value that should be taken advantage of.
