Cross-chain Applications of the Prospectors MMORTES Game

Prospectors is the first Massive Multiplayer Online Real-Time Economic Strategy (MMORTES) dapp. It’s a vision that began years ago by a group of enthusiastic developers that saw the potential of cryptocurrencies. They meticulously thought out an environment for experiencing cryptocurrency mining alongside the progression of the modern economic model.

Benefits of the Prospector Decentralized Network

DappRadar ranks Prospectors as one of the most popular dapps by users. Here are some key points that makes the game a model for what a decentralized network of tokens can become:

  • mining crypto through user game play
  • developed on EOS with integration across blockchains
  • cross-chain exchanges
  • and now, a dapp within a dapp

An Unconfined App

What was developed on EOS has become a cross-chain, cross-token, and now, a multi-level application. EOS users can get started immediately with their account name. This won’t surprise experienced EOS users. Just the benefits one expects when operating within the ecosystem. Same easy start on WAX. Some users begin with only one account. They find Prospectors there and then a whole new blockchain opens up to them.

Multi-level Applications

Prospectors' encouragement of EOS account holders to experience WAX (and vice versa) is a trend in blockchian toward interoperability. Now the team introduces its very first external-dapp. This means that players experience multiple games within the Prospectors' world. There are already plans for integrating other game. In fact, the Prospectors' team announced that the current external-dapp, EOS Royale, was chosen out of several submitted projects.

Brilliance in Applied Blockchain Solutions and Token Economies

The idea behind Prospectors is straightforward: users mine the cryptocurrencies. The team also saw the opportunity for users to build their world. Besides the launched environment of user constructed buildings, Prospector State Shares (PSS) reward users for their invested efforts.

The first PSS were distributed as two independent tokens on EOS and WAX. The community construction of the railroad, which first rewarded players with PSS, took place simultaneously. The railroad is what connects the EOS-WAX worlds and allows for the transfer of in-game assets. Prospectors employed the simultaneous launch approach again with EOS Royale. It currently runs as a multi-level dapp on both EOS and WAX. To the everyday user it merely looks like another building.

Update for regular authors

Hello @machnbirdsparo
I have had little contact with EOS, but I know that it is a very good chain of blocks, quite solid as it is.
I don't know much about games. But I recognize that it is a super good area of development, and that the economic moves in an impressive way.
Based on blockchain, it is multi-layered, it helps it to be much faster.

I two main things about EOS is that there are no transaction fees and that it caters to developers. I often compare it to a virtual computer.
