The Way Forward

in Project HOPE4 years ago

Dwelling for so long in the problem does not convert it to solution. For every problem or challenge that comes to an individual, there is always a solution but the solution may not be actualized until attention is shifted from the problems to seeking the solution. The place you focus your dominant attention is where your line of thought will be. If you constantly look at the problem, you will be thinking problems and the problems will continue to look bigger but if you think the solution, then you are already a few steps closer to the solution.

The challenges in the world are still there for a reason, for you to leverage upon them to create an impact in your world. When there was a challenge with connecting people together with others, a particular man; Mark Zuckerberg, instead of focusing on the problem, decided to proffer a solution to it with the creation of Facebook. Now, Facebook has not only made him a world renown figure but it has ushered the entire world into an era of digital social media and "connected revolution".

Many years ago, when people were stuck with the challenges of transportation and whatnot, the Wright brothers (Orville and Wilbur) were able to respond to the challenges with an idea to create a flying machine. The idea became a major breakthrough and that is why we now have even supersonic jets. All these were made possible by the solution provided by two brothers.

It does not matter how cruel a challenge is, as long as you are not willing to back down, you will pass through the challenge. The journey to the solution begins with taking a step in the right direction. Remember this; the journey of many miles cannot be attained until the first step is taken. Challenges cannot turn to solutions until actions are taken.

The way forward is usually to take steps forward. However, for you to take steps forward, you have to keep your mind focused on moving forward. You cannot constantly look backwards and hope to make a considerably good forward motion.

You cannot underestimate the power that has been embedded inside of the human mind to create solutions. Just as mountains can be surmounted no matter how high it is, problems can also be solved no matter how complex they may look. What you need is to give out your first step, at least to overcome the resistive force or inertia.

It is the combination of the first step and other similar positive steps that will make the solution to be attained. That means that without that initial first step, it will be almost impossible for other steps to happen. I believe even Isaac Newton's law of motion also explains this fact when it says that:

a body will continue to rest until force is applied.

Hi @samminator, very good post.
I share your opinion that to move forward you have to "keep your mind focused on moving forward" and overcome inertia. This is very helpful to achieve the proposed goals.
Thanks for sharing, best regards

Thanks a lot buddy @raizayanez. I appreciate your nice comment

Nice post. Don't think about the problem, think about a solution.

That's right. We should always keep our thoughts focused on the solution rather than the problem

We must always see things as opportunities to find solutions and chances to be better and grow.
Having an optimistic mentality, goals are more easily achieved.

That's the word; optimism will make one to focus more on the solution and less on the problem.
Thanks a lot for this comment buddy

Well you are right, when you dwell in problems you will see more problems. When you indeed start to look for solutions you would find more than you ever imagined. Nice read

Exactly, dwelling for long in the problem will only make you to see everything as problems. Thanks for coming around buddy
