Monster of Blocks
Even though I am kind of an OG gamer on this platform ((started playing Splinterlands when it was still Steem Monsters and even got accepted to do voice over work for them back when that was a thing and never got payed for it. Ah well ce la vie) Anyway this isn't about my illustrious non career doing voice overs as a fairy warlord and whatever the other character it is I recorded for, It's about Rising Star and Music For Life!)
As I was saying even though etc... I never got into Rising Star. I believe I was put off by the fact that I had attempted just such a journey throught the music business IRL and the thought of reliving that experience for fun was just a bit ludicrous to me. The term soul crushing may be a bit extreme but certainly at least little toe crushing or knee scraping.
Anyway I never tried it... BEFORE NOW!
Killer Combo
The combo of Rising Star and Music For Life is obviously not to be overlooked. There is a tornado of synergy there that is irresistible. You just can't help but be swept off your feet by it's Gale Force Winds! (Hey that's a great band name! You can use it if you want... Maybe for a math rock band?)
Double Duty
As we speak ( I speak you listen (in the future)(or am I speaking in the past?)) I am Busking Illegally while those fascist pigs try to hunt me down and shuffle me along. You can't stifle my creativity you Dog! I have a Voice!
Journey into the Unknown
So after this Busking Bender where will I go? What will I do? well I have no idea, I've barely scratched the surface of this game so it's still a mystery to me. All I know is that I need to somehow find more pizza and keep my ego in check. Too real man, too Real.
The road to success
In just the time it took me to Write this post I have become a Level 2 Illegal Busker and gained 7 Drunk Fans! I think I'm a natural at this game.

Welcome to Rising Star! I wrote the game based on my experience of at least trying to get a bit of traction in the local music scene. Hard isn't it!!!!
I hope you will continue to see the funny side to what we have created and it won't bring back too many bad memories!

Hahaha. I thought it seemed like it had been based on real life. I like some of the Local gigs, you can tell they are from the mind of someone who has been there done that.
So far so good, no ptsd symptoms popping up . I guess I should have jumped in earlier but better late than never. Unless you're the bassist. I'll definitely be around the discord scene a bit. cheers :)
