SDweelinq, the virtual pipe organ software that entered public beta recently, keeps intruiging me. This time I wanted to try a more intimate piece of music on the Seelinq software and the sample set of the Verschueren organ in the Grote Kerk in Dordrecht, The Netherlands.
This music comes from manuscript Mus ms 30439, owned by the Staatsbibliothek in Berlin. It contains music from anonymous composers and from Pachelbel and Johann Michael Bach, which makes me think the anonymous pieces could be by Pachelbel or Bach as well. Or perhaps a more daring theory: all the music contained in that manuscript if from Johann Michael Bach.
Either way, it contains some beautiful pieces, and this one is one of the most beautiful.
