There is no exact time you need o set and it is whatever works for you. 9 minutes sounds like a fast walk yet this does not matter as you are at least exercising and enjoying it.

On some of these "runs" I am walking just as much as I am jogging. The real objective is to keep my heart rate above a certain BPM regardless of what it is that I am doing to accomplish that.
Well keeping your core temperature up is how you burn fat so it makes no difference how you achieve this.
