Description from Strava:
It has been a bit chilly this week. I was at my drum lesson last night, but the drum room was cosy and we worked on a lot of things over an hour. The band has a gig coming up, so I needed to work on those tunes.
Today was frosty again, so I needed an extra layer and gloves. After seeing the latest from @dannewton I was prompted to do my hill sprints again. There was ice in places, but it did not feel too slippery. I have a bit of a jog to warm up, but I was feeling the cold a bit and that may have affected my speed. I can see on Strava that I was a little slower than the last time. I probably need to do more interval runs.
There were a few other runners passing through whilst I went up and down the hill, so I was not the only one crazy enough to be out there.
We are coming to the end of the Move-ember challenge and I have managed to log something every day this month. I had a target distance in mind and I may manage it. I will confirm that once the results are in. We use a Strava group to track it, but someone compiles the activities into a spreadsheet.
I hope your week is going well. Run free!

Yikes, that hill looks rough! I only put my incline at 1 on the treadmill. I need to do some service on it. The belt lube warning came on the other day. Nice job on your run!
The hill is a 6m climb over 300m, so about 2% gradient. That is enough to make it tougher than the flat. I go up as quick as I can and take it really easy on the way down.
Oh yeah, that is more than I would have thought. It seemed like more of a gradual slope.
Cold runs always make hot showers legendary. Staying consistent through frost, you deserve a medal
I prefer that to hot runs and cold showers :)
😂😂😂 well as will I
Thatis quite a remarkable distance for a frosty morning.
With the ice on the ground is always better to take it easy and go slower
