Description from Strava:
As I did a hard run yesterday I wanted an easy one today. If I am doing parkrun then I want to rest on Friday. I decided to do the loop around the villages as there would be no schoolkids around in the Easter break. So I headed out on the newish Bowskill Way. That can be busy, but there was lots of birdsong with one bird perched on a tall weed. This area is all pretty open and will be built on soon.
There are some roundabouts on that road which currently lead nowhere until the new roads are built. Recently I saw a burnt out truck in one of those that has left its mark on the tarmac. Later on I saw a car with a smashed front and then a car silencer by the side of the road. Motoring can be messy.
Meanwhile I crossed the bridge over the bypass into Etonbury woods. There were more birds and a rabbit ran across the path.
On the way into Stotfold are more new houses being built. At least they have improved the footpath past those. I am always watching where I tread when running and generally manage to avoid falls.
Coming out of Stotfold it is mostly uphill to Fairfield so I took that very gently. I was taking the shorter route today as it was enough for my tired legs. At least coming down the hill was easy.
I was pretty warm when I got home. I try to avoid the hotter parts of the day, but it was quite mild first thing.
Stay well and run free!

I'm sure it's possible. People can fake Strava activities, but if you compete against people you trust then it could be fun.
Just got back to walking now that the weather is improving. I've pilled on some unwanted layers of fat from sitting in one place for hours and stuffing my face with junk haha. Much needed outdoors time. I see a lot of runners are out now too. I wonder if the warmer weather makes it harder to actually run though.
I think people vary in what temperature they like. I prefer it cooler as I can run in shorts all year and still get warm in winter. Other people seem to pile on the layers. I think I may adapt a bit as it warms up. I feel for people doing a marathon on a hot day.
I am trying to get a bit scientific about my running and am reading up more on it as I tend to just go for it generally. May as well learn from others.
your consistency of pace is impressive to me. Are you monitoring this in real time with a watch or do you just know what your pace is based on what your body is telling you?
I do run by feel, but on some runs I check my pace. For this run the graph on Strava is a bit misleading as I think I left my watch running when I got back and this has skewed the scale.
I've been doing more reading about 'easy' runs and realised I had it wrong. I need to be keeping my heart rate lower to get the benefits those are supposed to have. So I may show heart zone on my watch instead of pace.

BEER.My wife didn't wake us up this morning. I'm guessing she said I'm sleeping in, but I never actually heard her, so we skipped our workout. We will get back at it tomorrow for sure.
My other half is on Easter break so she could sleep in. Sometimes I would like to, but I need to get my run done before I start work.
Yeah, we will probably make up for it on the weekend. That's usually the way it goes. The weather looks kind of nice for Saturday, so hopefully we can find a nice path to walk that isn't flooded.
Keep going, you're smashing your training at the moment and getting stronger every day.
