Description from Strava:
After our stay in Tadoussac we drove the hire car back to Québec. We dropped out at the Hilton and were having a snack there when the alarm went off and the building was evacuated. We saw a reporter on TV at the hotel when we got to the station, but did not find out what happened. We got the train to Montreal, which was a nice journey. We have an apartment there where our son has joined us after finishing his summer camp job.

Yesterday we did a bus tour and explored. I seem to be adjusting to local time and decided to run today.

I went to the old town by the port to run by the river. It was fairly busy, but not like yesterday afternoon when it was packed. I passed the new observation tower that we went up yesterday. It has the obligatory glass floor.

I went a little further today before heading back. I got a little lost, but got my bearings by finding Chinatown that is near us.

It was quite warm and humid. Just had some breakfast and need a shower before we head back out.

Grid-pattern cities feel like they should be harder to get lost in, but when I'm running, it's easy to lose track. Looks like a great trip. Have fun today!

I lost count of how many big streets I crossed. Just had to find something familiar.

Very cool! I wonder what happened at the hotel! That is cool that you are able to get out and explore a bit with your run. That is one of the things my wife and I love doing when we are traveling. Are you staying mainly in Canada or is your trip going to bring you down into the US? I thought you said it was at one point.

We are here for a few days then head for Boston and onwards in the US. Now at a big market in the Little Italy district. It's a very multicultural place.

Sounds amazing! I hope you have wonderful time! I have heard traffic in the Boston area can be nuts, so prepare yourself!

Keep going, you're smashing your training at the moment and getting stronger every day.

Canadá un país muy bello..

That's so great of you and I thibk you should make sure that you take some rest
The body needs it...

It's my first run in a while, but we are doing lots of walking as we want to explore. That's what we do on holiday.

I love an observation tower and found a little one in Paphos recently though no glass floor. There were one or two of those in Funchal which we visited in May.

Keep on running!

You had to pay to go up, but it was fun. They had some odd art installations up there. Seems to be a lot of art around generally, but they are trying to make the area more attractive as it looks like the old commercial shipping has gone elsewhere.

Ahhh interesting. My dad spent some time there many years ago and enjoyed it all. He worked for a Canadian firm who had an office in Southampton of all places which my dad ran for awhile.
