Celebrating My Quiet Impact.

Sincerely, we find it easy to rant and complain about life and the various bad moments in our lives while forgetting to celebrate the good ones. Looking at things more closely now, I see a lot of reasons to celebrate and smile. Here I would love to highlight a few.

One thing I would like to celebrate about myself is my love for giving. Yeah, I do charity work in my own little ways. It's not something big, and it's not something I tell people about; there are times those who received it don't even know it comes from me. A lot of times I had helped pay for people's Tfare. There are times I have seen people struggle to eat and have given out foodstuffs or some change to get something to eat. I have wrapped gifts and given them to strangers countless times, and I have bought sandals, school bags, and lunch boxes for schoolchildren. I feel a different kind of joy in seeing that someone's day goes well because I stepped in; their smiles give me joy. Trust me, it's not that I have it or I'm doing well, not at all. There are times I withdraw funds from this platform just to do these things.

And trust me, it's never about the recognition or anything, no, this things as become a part of me. You can't imagine the joy of knowing that someone somewhere is smiling, eating, or going to school because of an extension of my hand. That part of me that isn't expecting a thank you is definitely worth celebrating.

Also, I would love to celebrate the little thing I'm doing on WhatsApp. I post sometimes uplifting words, sometimes it's some sort of advice, other times it might be something funny to brighten someone's day, and other times it's just some words of encouragement. And it goes a long way in helping. I also do some anonymous stuff where people feel free to share what's breaking them, their fears, ask for advice, and such. Sometimes these people just need listening ears. I am not a counselor, but I know how powerful kind words might be. I do my best to encourage them.

Doing good doesn't always have to be about giving out money, kind words go a long way to, my words may not instantly turn around there situations, but it serves as a reminder from them that they are not alone and that someone is ready to listen. That is worth celebrating as well. I do my best to encourage them. Then there's the part where I check in on people, just telling them it's been a while and I was just reaching out to say hi. Not as if I don't have issues too or my days are all good, but then, those little things are what keep me going too. And they are not the frameable type of achievements. Just try and show up for one person in a day, any way you can...that's how I have been moving.

So today, I'm taking that pause to honor and celebrate myself. All of those little charity works done in silence, those messages I respond to with love, the various things I post to keep someone going, and all. The world may not be seeing it, but I know they matter. And it is definitely worth celebrating.

Thanks for taking your time to read through.

It's very beautiful. I like how this prompt lead to you writing about the beautiful things about yourself. I like that you have a love for giving, especially in a time everyone wants to receive.

Yea...
Even if it isn't much, I make sure to at least do little. We don't have to wait till we are all big/wealthy.

Thanks a lot for stopping by.
❤️💯❤️

And it doesn’t have to big. It doesn’t have to even be materialistic or in cash. Since you are giving from your heart with clear intentions, I think it’s a very beautiful thing to do.

You're very right ma'am.
We should at least start from somewhere, with that little.

Thanks a lot for stopping by ma'am.

You have a kind heart, and your impact is far beyond your imaginations. Keep doing good 👍

Thanks a lot ma'am.

You are creating a change my dear friend all around the world. You might not know but that is just the absolute truth

It is very important for us to celebrate ourselves rather than dwelling in the past.
