Bring back the old ways of life.

The old ways of life. Back in some years, I could remember how we used to live in peace and harmony.

Early in the morning like this, most of us will be ready to go to the farms to plant or cultivate what we have planted so far. 90 percent of the children and the young ones know how to farm. That is what we were brought up with anyway.

We only buy whatever we don't have on the farm at the market, and then we buy it at a very low price.

My parents have their own farms, and we also have our own farms. But gradually, as time went on, we started losing all these. I mean, I didn't see a single person go back to farming again.

We have lost it all. I knew we had lost it all when I saw people dressing however they wanted, especially the ladies, and the guys too. Before, you dared not dress the way you liked. I mean, even if your parents are so busy disciplining you and talking to you about how you need to dress in society, society will be there to do that for you.

One good thing about our culture is that we don't tolerate nonsense. Everything we do, we do well. It is now that you will see the crossdresser. And a guy is acting like a lady.

We so much hate such habits because we all believe they're satanic ways of living. But now, we have lost our culture. People can now do whatever they want; they do not care again.

The rate at which our culture and society are so disciplined cannot be overrated. Even as a child, you cannot misbehave because there is always someone to make sure you are doing what you should do right.

We lost respect a lot; we don't even give regards to people in authority again. Unlike before, we bent down and prostrated to greet people.

The young one doesn't give respect to the elders again, not to talk, their mate, or even their own parents. I was still wondering where we all got it wrong.
I was discussing this with my brother yesterday, and I told him about how the young ones are in the hospital and the old ones are at home. We have also lost our way of eating. If you see an old man now, you will realize it will be so difficult for him to eat in the restaurant.

He or she will love to prepare his or her own food. But now, the young one always likes to order food online. I mean, we are so lazy to even prepare our own food. And there is where we all got it wrong.
Our food should be our medicine. But then our food is now our poison. A lot of people out there cannot even eat what they are selling. They don't care anyway since they are not going to eat it.

We all suffer from food poisoning, but we refuse to use our brains. We ought to think about it because none of these have happened before.

The question you should ask is, have you seen a farmer who is so sick or visited the hospital the way people do? Of course not.

That is for you to tell them that our food is truly our medicine.
Not just that, we lost anyway. We had lost so many things in the past, including our uniqueness and our respect. We also lost who we were and became something else. I know the African as a hard-working being.
But we are very lazy now. So if I'm going to bring anything back, I will bring the old days of my way of living.

I want to go back to the Olden days, but NO, I don't want to. 🙃 I'll rather just imbibe the little part I loved into this newest methods.

LoLs 😂 is it not you.

Moral Degradation is just at play in this situation and current Nigeria where we find ourselves, we have forgotten where we come from .
Meanwhile the igbo man strictly warned and said Echefula don't forget where you come from .
Our language is gradually dying as parents no longer talk in local dialects everyone is forming sophisticated. The Gen Z as we call who are there parents ain't they those 50s and 60s adults parents to the Genz they see the bad these children do and have refused to talk and let them continue in the part of wordliness.
Things have really fallen apart 😪

You're welcome 🤗🤗

i really miss the old times, but let's look at the presents and we'd notice positive changes, we now have technology, whereas there was nothing like tech in the olden days.

Of course there is improvement in technology but then the negatives side is too much. Thanks for stopping by.

The old way of living was the best
Because we had life to the fullest
But now young people are constantly sick because of what the consume as food, forgetting that
The quality of what you eat determine the quality of your life.

Exactly my point, we are lazy and also becoming sick everyday. Only if we can't forget the past.
