Travelling the World or Travelling the Country or Travelling just your own State, whatever you try to do costs you Money as Accomodation,Food and Travel costs pile up and make a Vacation Costly.
But is Travelling really an Expensive Feat?
I beg to differ.
You see Travelling is not expensive at all the thing which is expensive while travelling is the Luxury we want while we are Travelling that is what is expensive.
This is something I just thought of yesterday when I was booking a getaway for me and my wife next month and since I had a Coupon with me I decided to go for ultimate luxury. I will talk about that in a later post but let me dot down the cost of Travelling to the same place without Luxury and what would be the possible cost.
Let's start with a Bus Ride to the Central Bus Depot where we will then board a Shared Taxi which will lead to our destination. The Bus Ride will cost us 30 INR each while the Shared Can ride will cost us 200 INR each. Next would be the accomodation which is a major chunk of the cost of travelling and this is something I can say with certainty that there are indeed places where you can stay at 500 - 750 INR per night excluding food.
Now that the accomodation was set next would be the Food which you can comfortably get for 150 INR per person per meal so even if we have 4 meals a day it would cost us 1200 INR.
Finally we will also have some local sightseeing costs which will range from 1000-1600 INR depending upon your bargaining skills and then we also have the ride back to home cost which comes down to approximately 300 INR per person.
So a Trip for 2 people for 1 day to a nearby Hill Station will cost us approximately 3500 INR per day and this is after I have added some extras. So you can see that Travelling doesn't need to be Expensive as there are indeed less expensive options to avail.
