In this one I share a day of the dead Halloween pumpkin lamp made by serev3d of thingiverse, a pretty nice model
The print
I printed mine with some deep galaxy blue PLAl(the galaxy bit is shiny little specs in it ), this filament is very nice and the print came out great! Anyway lets get into some fluff no one reads to appease our HW overlords 🤣

Fluff about the day of the dead
fall's comin in... and you start seein all the skulls and skeletons everywhere and people think it's all just halloween decorations. but folks always get it twisted with Day of the Dead, eh. they ain't the same thing at all. not even close.
Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, isn't about being scared or spooky. it's the opposite. it's about remembering your family and friends who've passed on. it's a straight up celebration of their lives. up here, when someone dies, we get all quiet and wear black and it's this super somber, awkward thing. down in Mexico, they throw a party for the dead.
the whole idea is that for a couple days, the spirits of your loved ones can come back to visit. so people build these amazing altars in their homes called ofrendas. they put up photos of the person, and then surround it with all the stuff they loved. their favourite food, bottle of tequila, cigarettes... whatever they were into. it's like you're setting the table for a guest of honor. they even lay down paths of marigold petals to guide the spirits home.
then they go to the cemeteries and hang out. they clean the graves, tell stories, play music, and have a picnic. it’s not sad. it's loud and vibrant and full of life. it treats death as a natural part of the cycle, not some terrifying final end you're not supposed to talk about. you're basically just chilling with your ancestors for a night.
ya boy thinks there's somethin really solid about that. it's a real tradition. it’s about family and memory... tangible things that actually matter more than a balance in some account. it’s a healthier way to look at it all, maybe. less fear, more respect.

I'm not sure I understand. Did you 3D print that blue pumpkin? If so, that's a brilliant idea. The blue color is beautiful. I have a 3D printer, but I haven't used it in a year. !LOLZ

Very cool print! That thing is great! Dia de los Muertos is a great holiday in Mexico, Mexico City is filled with people with their faces painted like skulls and it's a lot of fun. Better to remember your deceased family and friends and celebrate their memory than the opposite.
