Hello splinterlands nerds, hope you are all enjoying the goodies the game offered us since last month, first it was dec that explode and surprised everyone by reaching a ridiculous all time high and i kinda regret selling a huge chunk of dec at the price of 0.004 thinking that is how far it can go for a while but we got to learn to move on... Oh yea then come the sps drop that made many millionaire in their country currency already and i don't include people living in the U.S
Last season was a great one for me as i ended up in top 2 after some fight with top players, 150 000 dec in this time of green is really a big price so i am glad i won that but what made me achieve that feat? i had a battle with a very fierce opponent that pushed me to victory and it was none other than bubke the terror!
The moment i was paired with him, i know it was a 50 pcent chance of win or loss but that didn't bring down my confidence, i summon up courage and choose the best team i can think of for the battle as it is also going to be my last battle for the season because it is just 3 hours left for season to end...
We got an Earth quake and taking sides ruleset.
The Earthquake rule is a disaster for non- flying monsters and the best summoner that goes with it is the summoner[brighten bloom] that add the flying abilities to all monsters he summoned, i was not suprised the opponent also use the same summoner as i...
The taking sides ruleset almost confused me as we have the earth and water splinter available so i find it hard to choose one out of those two but after thinking for some seconds, i went with the water splinter while the opponent came with earth..
I guess he was expecting me to use the earth splinter as well and judging with his set up it would have been a loss for me so i shocked him with the water splinter and thanks to all the monsters that i used because they all performed their task well which led to my winning..
The front monster shield made it difficult for the opponent to take it down and the two healers i used keep replenishing his health and that just made him immortal as it didn't die till the end of the battle..
The ice pixie was the first to die but it did help in taking down the opponent monster which could have been a disaster if it was not taking down because the two monsters i depend for attacks are magic monsters and the failed summoner has a magic reflect!
The kelp initiate with his triage ability also helps to delay the opponent attack as he came with snare that removes their flying abilities and the ruler of the seas is the monster of the match and his high magic attack got most of the opponent monsters killed..
That win means a lot, it took me to a great victory, if i had loss i would have fall back to top 10 and get just 60 000 dec....So it was indeed a great season for me!

yup i cashed out most of it before the spike but glad i earn dec daily so didn't feel the blow much..
