Process Matters

Many things in life appear beautiful, but beauty often involves undergoing a rigorous process to achieve. Consider any plant, for instance; we admire its beauty, but before it produces the beautiful or edible fruits we cherish, it must undergo a decomposition process. Decomposition doesn't seem easy for any seed or part of the plant placed in the soil, but over time, they eventually sprout, revealing their beauty from the decomposed state.

The same applies to beautiful ornaments crafted from minerals mined underground. In their raw state, many minerals don't showcase their beauty until refined through fire and molded into shapes; gold serves as a good example. We can also learn something about butterflies, which are one of nature's beauties to behold. Their metamorphic process, which transforms the caterpillar into the butterfly, isn't easy, as there has to be some struggle in the cocoon, going through several phases before obtaining their final beautiful shape.

I believe there are many things that can be learned from these analogies with regards to nature. Reflecting on these can help us appreciate the processes in life and understand why it matters that we go through them. While everyone admires those who have succeeded in any endeavor and wishes to achieve similar success, not many are willing to endure the challenging processes of decomposition or refinement.

People aspire to be associated with the world's wealthiest individuals and take pride in it. Success is admired, but the journey involving stretching, sacrifices, risks, and hard work is something not many are willing to undergo willingly.Everything involves a process, and the process, too, takes time and various kinds of discomfort.

It's often through such challenging processes that we are subjected to that make us learn resilience. Every transformative process isn't easy; there are breaking moments, forming and reshaping moments, and I believe that's what every endeavor we seek to achieve in life takes us through. The best things that can be achieved in life I believe all have a price tag.

Sadly, we live in a generation where many desire the beauty or the best things in life but are not willing to go through the process. The beauty of everything or the process is always hidden and can only be discovered while pursuing or going through it.

The mindset of instant gratification and the desire for quick results are significant issues that often cause many to avoid necessary processes. We see true beauty or true success when we decide to face the challenges inherent in life's processes. While doing this, it's always important to recognize these challenges as opportunities for growth and resilience.

Beautiful and creative artwork from your students! Nature offers us a good reflects on why process matters and without it nothing good or substantial comes into existence. I think focusing on the process makes the journey more worthwhile than being fixated on the destination or end goal.

Thanks for the complement and yes, it's so true:focusing on the process makes the journey more worthwhile.
