There was a time in my journey that life had no meaning anymore to me. I was not suicidal but I had died long ago by the triggers of my negative thoughts. A dead man is not just one who is in a grave but also one that has no dreams nor hopes. I was like that kind of dead man who was not ready to accommodate, learn or do anything for my growth and as the saying goes, "you die when you stop growing". Well, that is applicable to all living things including the plants. I know you might have been depressed one way or the other in your life journey, or probably, you are currently depressed or getting close to the stage of depression. Irrespective of the gravity of the problem you are going through, this post might just be for you.
Like I always say, nature itself is ready to be against you by all means. How do I know? Leave a plant without watering it or taking really good care of it, what happens to that plant? It won't just wither but weeds will grow over it and choke it out of the stem. That is, it is not about leaving the plant and having the assumption that nothing will happen to it but it is about taking good care of the plants because the weeds from nature is ready to be against any plant, man or animal who is not ready to survive. Even businesses are included because nothing can ever stay neutral(and for a long time)
A killer Question
My question then is, why should you then be against yourself when nature itself is ready to be against you? Remember, you are all you got.
It is paramount to increase your level of faith in believing you can become better by loving yourself before delving into the following steps. I hope you are already inspired? Let's move on!

Source Out the Root Cause
This is one major challenge people battling with depression normally go through. When depressed, you enter into a different realm of agony where the problem that caused so much pain become untraceable anymore. At this point, you become pitifully comfortable, where you are no longer bothered about what triggered your emotions but more attentive to your negative thoughts and how it can affect you.
The way out of this mess is to firstly identify why you feel the way you feel. I know that piled up situations can burst out depression like a volcano eruption, however, you need to trace that major situation or event that is affecting your state of mind most in the clouds of problems and write it down.
Identify The Worst Case Scenario of the Written Cause
This is highly relative among several people and their problems. It could be the loss of a loved one, failure in business, being duped, becoming an addict to bad habits and many others. The idea is to ask yourself, "what can be the worst effect of this situation?". Be honest with yourself. With all the insults, bankruptcy, shame, or whatever the issue may be, what is the worst that can happen?
Make Up Your Mind
Whether you like it or not, no matter the therapy you go to for help, or the YouTube videos you watch or the friend you meet, nothing will change only if you decide. How simple, right? But ever since the creation of man, the matter of choice is the most daunting task ever known to man where man is in a box of choosing from many options and the fear of making bad decisions makes man never to make any. Therefore, deciding is willing to change something, it is also an effective approach to help your state of mind.
However, deciding to be for yourself and not against, is not just enough. If it were that simple, i guess there be no reason for this topic. The problem here is that people have lost their sense of independency. They don't understand how to become responsible for some certain things in their life if not most and that is why making decisions becomes so difficult where through out their life time, they have won awards of emotional, physical and intellectual dependency on other people. They even find it hard to own themselves.
Before you can decide effectively, if only you first become highly independent. How?
1) In that Dark, See the World You Can Create!
I love day dreaming because it has a way of giving me the hope I need for the day. Every day, I picture my self where inwant to be and the service I want to render. In that dark,picture the best that is still yet to come.
2) Believe in Yourself
When you don't known your sense of worth, trust me, nature is coming right at you. You become depressed because you accommodate every thing life gives you but you don't know that God gave us a filter gift to take away things that we feel it is harmful for us. Everyone has it, but not everyone is conscious about it. Filter the things that will constantly make you doubt your self.
In conclusion, In my journey of motivation, i have learnt never to underestimate any man's problem. We are in this era where everyone is trying to compare and contrast their problems with other people, with the notion that, "Man A" problem is not as much of an issue as "Man B" problem is. We have gravitate people problems with our own scales, dictating to them how feeble they are, because according to them, that problem is not a big issue, so why should they feel terrible?
Yes, it is much of an issue to them, just leave it that way! You are to talk them out of the situation not showing them how weak they are.
