When the days were well
and the people smiled
free to roam about
carefree as a child
the value of freedom yet unknown
till the COVID landed untold
the lands were closed
people were caged
animals roamed about
and the seas were fresh again
the skies cleared
and the swans danced
but the children of man
were left in misery
Alas, man what have you done for the future generation
time and again you were warned
looting nature was your favorite game
now see who is suffering
and it was all in the name of money and fame
Stop and think for a moment
let your priorities change
man has been warned by nature
to stop the looting game
become close to nature
start to use organic
grow your own veggies
and be self-sustain
let the children smile again
