Helloooo! How are you guys today? The week is almost done and I am itching to get home again to sleep XD I know I was just at home the other d but what can I do, I rally do not enjoy working anywhere ;;-;; It feels like my jb is slowly taking my soul and life away and my health a well, but what can a girl do, she has ills to pay and a sister she's sending to college.
Before I went on to vent about my life, I did try to draw last night XD just a quick one cuz I'm trying to practice more and more cuz the ber months are coming up and I want to make an impression.
So today's word is cafe and I am not a fan o doing sceneries so I struggled with this one a bit.
Materials: watercolor, pencil color, markers
Duration: 1 hour
It really is a quick sketch kind of thing where most o my waiting time honestly went to waiting for the watercolor to dry then just doing random blotches o ink and penciling to give it some volume
I'm at that point where I really wonder, when will my watercolor inge take shape? Cu it used to be decent but now I'm just using pencil colors to make up for my lack of skills by overriding it with another skillset XD I'm not saying it's bad cuz I have made some soft and really impressive drawings in this era of my life but yes ^^ Ifeel like I have so much room for improvement here.
So does my pen work, I guess ^^ But I think as I climb up my career ladder, the less time I'll have left for the things I want to do, like art.I mean, I'm grateful now that I can still get creative despite how full my hands are most of the time, but I miss the days when I could draw in between work because we literally had nothing to do ad because I was just an employee at that time and not a supervisor.
These were on the final touches before I called it a night ^^ not my best work, I admit but at least this is off my prompt list plus new drawing experience so we take the small wins at least. I'll still be drawing later after work anyways so let's see if my work later is any better or not XD
