I did something real quick before going to bed last night 😅 but I'm happy with how this came out so I'm gonna post it! So I'm resuming my posting and active self and I'm trying to maintain the streak because why not UwU for the prompt today, I am doing muffin. I'm pretty sure this is a cupcake but eh, close enough XD. It's so pink and cute and I am not a fan of pink but this works for m because of how warm the colors are.
Materials: Watercolor, Pencil color, white acrylic marker
Duration: 1 hour
I actually started the watercolor layer for this immediately after I finished my little koi pon drawn, I was thinking the paint still has to dry anyways s should get this Don and over with already.
I have been trying to put my color theory knowledge into practice and can see that it works pry well for watercolor so I think I should maintain that and improve it in the long run UwU
So after posting and after a quick shower, I started detailing it in with color pencils. I was hell bent on sticking with my color theory practice so all the shadows I used were purple or green which is a contract to brown and red respectively. I did do like from dark to light shading and I works for color theory, it's so cool!
Last bit of detail I did was the highlights and theeennn I was done! I am happy with how simple it looks! I still hate whit backgrounds but I was too sleepy to add more of a background XD so I stopped here!
And that is my art activity fo the day! Later on, I'll tell you guys about my SpongeBob run! This is one of the things I've been training fo for the past few weeks too!
