The beautiful feeling of going about your daily activities without any fear of negativity, knowing that you can interact,eat,sleep with anyone not minding the tribe, religion and race is what I call peace. Peace is a driving force to nation building, economic growth and development.
Why is peace important?
Where there is peace, there is growth, love and unity. For instance, In a country where peace strives, things are shaped in an orderly manner. There is rapid development because all hands are on deck and bonded in unity. Peace is therefore established when the society is ready to live in it.
Peace is important because it brings good things. Things are achievable in a peaceful environment. Without peace resources won't be flourishing. The conflict made by man has made the world look like a wicked place to live in. People are becoming scared as the day goes by because of conflict established amongst themselves.
In a society where there is no peace, the economy will dwindle as both investors in and out of the country will find it very hard to want to invest. People will continue to live in fear. Everyone will be mindful of another with the mindset that the other person may be a traitor. People will generally live in fear.
Peace is important because it gives freedom of movement without any fear or suspicion. There is also a 100% visibility of growth and development in a peaceful environment.
How do we have peace amongst ourselves?
I believe that to create a peaceful atmosphere, first we must find our conscience. This is so because, a man with a conscience wouldn't steal from his neighbor knowing how he would react if they stole from him. Conscience brings you to realization. It makes you aware of what is good and bad and would always make you choose the good path. So if we all as individuals find our conscience, then peace is achievable. It defeats the urge to kill, steal, kidnap, fight and generally harm people around you.
The realization that there will be no food for us and our loved ones, no good hospitals to take care of us if we destroy them in war, people will becomes homeless too if there is conflict will help us understand better that peace is the only way to avoid all these things.
Having inner peace
To have inner peace is knowing how to love unconditionally. Loving unconditionally is loving no matter the circumstances. Even when there is a reason to fight or quarrel, you look beyond the negativity and still love nevertheless.
A lot of persons also do not take responsibility for their actions and this has caused chaos amongst people. So when you accept your mistakes, take responsibility for every action whether good or bad, you make yourself available to inner peace . You are bold of your little faults and you make amends too.
Lastly, when you are satisfied with whatever you have whilst working hard genuinely to get more, you are 100% available to achieving inner peace. When you conquer greed and selfishness, you are avail yourself to inner piece.
