Different Strokes, Different Folks.

The world at large is blessed with natural endowments both in the atmosphere, on land, and beneath the earth. In Africa, where I am currently compiling the pieces of this post from, Nigeria to be precise. There are two major seasons in the year. The dry and rainy seasons.

These two reasons characterize why our habitation and occupation may be different from people or places of other parts of the world. During the dry season, our geography which made us close to the sun brings burns to green life. We know that this feature may not be the same elsewhere.

Every continent in the world is unique in one way or the other. So, if you make you to West Africa between September and March, you are sure to witness harsh climatic conditions.

It is during this period that you get to see green life buying burnt by the scorching sun and becoming brownish. Except for plants that are found around swampy areas that flourish during the period.

Some plants as you can see in the foregoing images are enjoying the presence of water and are living healthily while a host of plants in the upland and being drained of juice that would make them live. You can see from the dryness of the earth that the scorching sun plays a vital role.

The cycle of life revolves between man and his physical and biological environment. In my search for more revealing truth about our unique weather conditions, I found these rams feeding away on the already suffering plants. Such is life.

This 👆particular ram faced me headlong for intruding his territory. Mind you, I was only taking shots for this post. As the king of all the ewe, he felt humiliated and tried fighting back. That's the competition in the ecosystem that #CharlseDarwin propounded in his theory of evolution. There will always be competition among animals, man being a higher animal.

However, as some plants, especially those plants with weak stems that can't keep enough wanted are lamenting through their inability to stand the climatic conditions, other plants are sat ding firm and blooming amid the scorching sun.

Lemongrass. Very nourishing as herbs for curing fever.

Plantain also survives during this season, sake of its ability to absorb and keep water.

As early as daybreak, the sun rises through the skies and heating down on us heavily.

Farmers will be greatly advantaged as seeds would be dried up and preserved more during this season.

I would love to promote Wednesday Walk- The Fog by @sketch.and.jam

Where she captured her neighbour's crows

On my way home I spotted my neighbor's holiday themed crows. This time they are decked out for Christmas. I wonder what they will look like for New Year's eve.

It made a super-duper read.
