The world is hurting and we've seen a lot of decadence
The rich get to escape anything and the poor get the sentence
They come dressed in white apparel but they are filled with pretence
They are dead to reason, dead to love, even their conscience
The world is not far too gone, heal with your kindness
There are so much we can show others, even our goodness
You are not doing it for the applause
So, worry not about those who take it for granted
Leave the footprint of your goodness on every heart
Never leave people the same way you met them on this earth
Let someone go to bed thankful for coming in contact with you
We have been used to seeing crimes and pain
Let's be the one to usher in their new season of rain
Destroying lives and bringing others down, from it let's refrain
We are clothed in white, we should stay off the stain
Someone out there could use your tenderness
Who knows maybe you are the first to give it to them
But how can you know when you won't even try?
Never allow bad experiences to change who you are meant to be.
