And yes, the importance of curation cannot be emphasized enough

I've personally written some posts that I poured my heart into and it got basically zero engagement

So I completely understand how discouraging it can be...
And that's why I'm always appreciative when my posts get curated

Even though I'm also relatively a newbie, I've seen some newbies get discouraged and just quit
Which is why I try to leave sincere comments on as many posts as I can

    You are doing a great job. I've seen quite a few or your writing and I'm amazed at your penmanship.

    True words youve said, pouring your heart out and not having any curation on the post can be quite discouraging. Let's hope the whales see this beautiful contest and realise the need to curate more especially newbies.
