If you have been following the drama happenings, you probably know by now that a new Discord server has been created full of former members of the "BRO" community that is/was on HIVE. If you are still a member of that community, no worries, you can also have a seat here at The Pub.
If you are absolutely confused now, you might want to do some quick reading:

So we did a thing and created a new space on Discord for people to hang out, talk, and laugh the way the Mancave or Bro used to be before it got blown to bits. As members started showing up, people from the old community started talking about a token. A PUB token was created on Hive Engine, but nothing has been minted yet, and at this time the community hasn't decided what we may or may not do moving forward.
Subsequently, we did create @thepub account in case we ever do decide to move forward with a token or something similar.
In the short time the The Pub has existed, it was also recommended that a HIVE community be created where users write HIVE posts about any number of topics like they used to do with the BRO community. I figured I should act before someone else did, so I also created The Pub community that you can find and subscribe to under the "Communities" section of your PeakD interface.
There are a few rules for the community, so you might want to check those before you just go randomly posting. Otherwise you might end up having your post get muted or in really bad cases downvoted.
What you should expect
As far as the Discord goes, The Pub is a free space for people to hang out and talk. Much like the corner bar; opinions, jokes, rants, and drunken ramblings are all welcome. Just remember while you might be free to say (almost) anything, you are also free to accept the consequences from saying it.
On the HIVE side, The Pub (as I stated above) is where you can place your (quality) content that maybe doesn't fit in another community. Unfortunately, given the current format of The Pub, I can't promise tokens, or a big (maybe even none) upvotes like you may have gotten in the BRO community. I also can't promise your content will get a lot of eyes (at least to start), but I can promise that it will be appreciated and safe here.
My account isn't necessarily small, so I might even stop by with an upvote of my own. It would be cool if we could eventually get some curation account eyes on The Pub so members can get a little jingle in their pockets for their work.
Whether you visit once and never come back or end up making The Pub your regular watering hole, we look forward to having you. The Pub is open to everyone as long as you follow the number one rule of The Pub:
