MY BIRTHDAY, A DAY OF ADVENTURES [ENG/ESP]

Today I'm here to tell you that last week, Saturday, March 4, was my birthday 🥳😅 I'm not used to celebrating it by doing anything special, but that Saturday I found out that there were several events in the city of Caracas and I decided to go for any of those events. There was a small anime and geek culture convention at the CELARG in Altamira, for that it was the first destination I set out for 😋.
Hoy paso por aquí para contarles que la semana pasada, el día sábado 4 de marzo fue mí cumpleaños 🥳😅 yo no acostumbro a celebrarlo haciendo nada especial, pero ese sabado me enteré que habían varios eventos en la ciudad de Caracas y me animé a ir para alguno de esos eventos. Había una pequeña convención de anime y cultura geek en el CELARG de Altamira, para ese fue el primer destino que tracé rumbo 😋.
Upon arrival you could already feel the good vibes of the place 😁 at the entrance there were several people cosplaying some character from geek culture 😋; I have always liked this type of event, but I have never had the opportunity to go to a large-scale Comic-Con that is held here in Caracas. For now, I console myself with this event, which was more like a bazaar.
Al llegar ya se podía sentir la buena vibra del lugar 😁 en la entrada habían varías personas haciendo cosplay de algun personaje de la cultura geek 😋; siempre me han gustado este tipo de eventos, pero nunca he tenido la oportunidad de ir a una Comic-Con de las que hacen aquí en Caracas a gran magnitud, por ahora me consuelo con este evento que era mas como un bazar.
I invited my friend Moises to accompany me on that day of adventure and thus take him out of his house, that boy never leaves anywhere 😅 he leaves his house only to go to university 🙃.
Invite al amigo Moises para que me acompañara en ese dia de aventura y asi sacarlo de su casa, ese muchacho no sale nunca para ningún lugar 😅 él sale de su casa solo para ir a la universidad 🙃.
We entered the event and began to tour the different stands where they traded different objects, clothing items, and accessories related to geek culture 😋; for me it was like PARADISE 🤩 I was fascinated by everything 😅 but what I liked the most are the sleeves 😍 I wish I had my collection of many MANY MANGA 🤤 at that event I had no money to buy anything 🥺.
Entramos al evento y comenzamos a recorrer por los distintos stands donde comerciaban diferentes objetos, prendas de ropa y accesorios relacionados con la cultura geek 😋; para mí era como el PARAÍSO 🤩 todo me tenía fascinado 😅 pero lo que mas me gustaban son los mangas 😍 deseo tener mi colección de muchos MUCHÍSIMOSSS MANGAS 🤤 en ese evento no tenía dinero para comprar nada 🥺.
We kept going around the place and found a gamer area 🎮🕹️ there were a couple of screens and two video game consoles, a ps5 and an Xbox, in one they played a dragon ball anime video game and in the other they played a demon slayer anime video game; there was also a virtual reality console, although only the user knew what he was playing 😅. Besides, in that same area there were some tables where some epic battles of card games like Magic or Yugioh were taking place, I thought I had taken pictures, but apparently they weren't saved 🙃.
Seguimos dando vueltas por el lugar y encontramos una zona gamer 🎮🕹️ había un par de pantallas y dos consolas de videojuegos un ps5 y un Xbox, en uno jugaban un videojuego del anime dragon ball y en el otro jugaban un videojuego del anime demon slayer; también había jna consola de realidad virtual, aunque solo el usuario sabía lo que estaba jugando 😅. Aparte en esa misma zona habían unas mesas en donde se estaban llevando acabo unas épicas batallas de juegos de cartas como Magic o Yugioh, pense que le había tomado fotografías, pero al parecer no se guardaron 🙃.
Then I went to the stand of some young artists who were presenting the advances of their project called "COMIC GOD" and also exhibiting part of their artistic works; I connected with them very well, because I told them that I was also dabbling in that world of graphic narrative and comics 😁.
Luego me acerque al stand de unos jóvenes artistas que estaban presentando los avances de su proyecto llamado "DIOS DEL COMIC" y también exhibían parte de sus trabajos artísticos; vincule con ellos muy bien, porque les comenté que yo también estaba incursionando en ese mundillo de la narrativa gráfica y el cómic 😁.
We had a nice time in that place, but there was nothing else to see and since we didn't have money to buy anything, it was better to go to another place 😋. The next destination we set out for was towards fine arts to see if there was an event in those parts 😁.
Pasamos un rato agradable en ese lugar, pero ya no había nada mas que ver y como no teníamos dinero para comprar nada, era mejor irnos para otro lugar 😋. El proximo destinó al que pusimos rumbo fue hacía bellas artes para ver si había algún evento por esos lares 😁.
We arrived at the square of the fine arts museums and we found a great Iranian-Venezuelan cultural exchange fair; there were spaces where you could appreciate part of the Iranian culture with some samples of traditional objects from that region and there were also samples of Venezuelan culture, they were also premiering a book called "LA CELDA 14" it was something related to the late president Hugo Chávez. We left the place after having toured the entire fair, there wasn't much to do beyond seeing the stands, we better visit another space 🙃.
Llegamos a la plaza de los museos de bellas artes y nos encontramos con un gran feria de intercambio cultural Iraní - Venezuela; habían espacios en donde se podía apreciar parte de la cultura Iraní con algunas muestras de objetos tradicionales de esa región y también había muestras de cultura de Venezuela, también estaban estrenando un libro llamado "LA CELDA 14" era algo relacionado con el difunto presidente Hugo Chávez. Nos retiramos de lugar luego de haber recorrido toda la feria, no había mucho que hacer mas alla de ver los stand, mejor visitamos otro espacio 🙃.
Finally we went to the cultural center B.O.D. where an event related to the Japanese cultural week was taking place, although when we arrived at the place we realized that there was no traditional culture from Japan, what there were were more POP culture things 🙃; We were in the place for a short time, we were already tired, we decided to finish this adventure for that day 😁. This was a different birthday than usual, I usually stay at home doing anything creative, but that day I really had a great time searching for adventure in the city of Caracas, see you another time; I hope you like this post, good vibes 🖖🏼.
Por último nos dirigimos al centro cultural B.O.D. en donde se estaba llevando acabo un evento relacionado con la semana cultural japonesa, aunque cuando llegamos al lugar nos dimos cuenta que no había nada de cultura tradicional de Japón, lo que habían eran mas cosas de cultura POP 🙃; estuvimos poco tiempo en el lugar, ya estábamos cansados, decidimos culminar esta aventura por ese día 😁. Este fue un cumpleaños diferente de lo habitual, normalmente me quedo en la casa haciendo cualquier cosa creativa, pero ese día de verdad la pasé muy bien en esa búsqueda de aventura por la ciudad de Caracas, nos vemos en otra ocasión; espero que este post sea de su agrado, buenas vibras 🖖🏼.

Feliz cumple amigo! He estado involucrado en el mundo del comic desde Mexico desde hace decadas, se ve que la pasaste muy bien! Por cierto, has escuchado de Threads en Hive?
Agradecido amigo 😁 que alegría conocer a personas igual de apasionadas que yo con la cultura geek, poco a poco aqui en Venezuela esta creciendo la cultura geek y se estan llevando a cabo muy seguido eventos de ese índole, espero poder asistir con mas frecuencia a esos encuentros 😋
Claro amigo conozco Threads, he compartido algunos, aunque no ando muy activo por allí, me encuentro nuevamente en ese proceso de adaptarme a publicar con mas constancia en el blog ya que la universidad me hizo apartarme un poco 🙃 ahí voy 😅
