Es algo impresionante que ya estemos en el cuarto mes del año, abril siempre me ha parecido un mes largo, aunque sea más corto que marzo, son una parejita compuesta por muchos días de un sol amenazante y poca lluvia.
Acabamos de pasar la Semana santa, que bien puede ser en marzo como este año o en abril, lo cual para mí, más allá de la tradición cristiana, significa una cosa clara: Muchísimo calor.

It is something impressive that we are already in the fourth month of the year, April has always seemed to me a long month, even if it is shorter than March, they are a couple composed of many days of threatening sun and little rain.
We have just passed the Holy week, which may well be in March this year or in April, which for me, beyond the Christian tradition, means one thing clear: Very hot.
Se volvió rutina ir a la universidad y escuchar quejas en todos lados sobre el calor, en el transporte público, en el salón, en los comercios, esta siempre será una forma de sacar conversación jaja. Que calor tan...
No me malinterpreten, me encantaría pasar este calor en una playa con buena vista y rica comida, o tal vez en alguna piscina, pero como no es el caso, me quedo en casa siendo una amargada quejosa, qué puedo decirles. 😡
It became routine to go to the university and hear complaints everywhere about the heat, in public transportation, in the classroom, and in the stores, this will always be a way to get the conversation going haha What a heat so....
Don't get me wrong, I would love to spend this heat on a beach with a good view and delicious food, or maybe in a pool, but as that's not the case, I stay at home being a bitter complainer, what can I tell you? 😡
El mes de marzo fue un poco caótico, especialmente porque por alguna razón durante este mes suelen empezar los problemas con la electricidad💡, además de que muchos solemos recordar que, el 07 de marzo del año 2019 ocurrió el gran apagón nacional, 22 estados venezolanos sin electricidad por 5 días o más. Esto nos traumatizó a muchos, incluyéndome y, a veces es un ejercicio un poco insano imaginar que podría volver a pasar y qué haríamos si se repitiese.
The month of March was a little chaotic, especially because for some reason during this month usually problems with electricity💡, many of us remember that, on March 07, 2019, the great national blackout, 22 Venezuelan states were without electricity for 5 days or more. This traumatized many of us, including me and, sometimes it is a bit of an unhealthy exercise to imagine that it could happen again and what we would do if it were to happen again.
La electricidad en mi país es como mi salud mental, algo inestable🤣. Desde que tengo memoria, recuerdo largas horas de racionamiento de luz por falta de mantenimiento y negligencia en el sistema eléctrico, pero aquel día de marzo fue algo de otro nivel y hay toda una teoría conspirativa de que marzo quedó marcado para siempre.
Este año, empezaron nuevamente los cortes de electricidad, sin previo aviso y sin ningún tipo de justificación, más allá de que "es costumbre", así que solo nos toca buscar qué hacer durante estas horas, como mi hermano que encontró amistad en los vecinitos y jugaban El zorro y la gallina. 🦊🐓
Electricity in my country is like my mental health, somewhat unstable🤣. For as long as I can remember, I remember long hours of power rationing due to lack of maintenance and negligence in the electrical system, but that day in March was something on another level and there is a whole conspiracy theory that March was marked forever.
This year, the power outages started again, without prior notice and any kind of justification, beyond the fact that "it is customary", so we just have to find something to do during these hours, like my brother who found friendship in the neighbors and played The fox and the hen. 🦊🐓

Yo, llegaba de la universidad queriendo estar en el aire acondicionado, comer algo y recostarme, pero la vida tenía otros planes para mí🙂. Los cortes pueden ser de 3h y en el peor de los casos de 6h.
Debo admitir que, aunque mi batería social estaba agotada, el sentarme afuera a tomar aire porque el calor adentro era insoportable y ver el atardecer con sus bonitos colores me hacía sentir bien. El sol se despedía después de aturdirnos durante todo el día y hacer hasta que se te baje la tensión.
I came home from college wanting to be in the air conditioning, eat something, and lie down, but life had other plans for me🙂. The outages can be 3h and in the worst case 6h.
I must admit that, although my social battery was depleted, sitting outside to get some air because the heat inside was unbearable, and watching the sunset with its beautiful colors made me feel good. The sun was saying goodbye after dazing us all day and making even your blood pressure go down.
Van algunos días en los que la incertidumbre nos rodea, pues no se ha ido más la luz, solo estamos alerta y deseando que ya no pase y que este mes de abril sea un poco más decente. 🙏🏽
Espero que este mes sea bueno para todos y que puedan cumplir sus metas pautadas. Recuerden cargar sus teléfonos y tener buenos juegos de mesa para distraerse durante los cortes de energía.
Si tienen algún chisme bueno, invítenme y si tienen piscina, mucho mejor. 💋

It's been a few days that uncertainty surrounds us because the light is not gone anymore, we are just alert and wishing that it doesn't happen anymore and that April will be a little more decent. 🙏🏽

Te entiendo perfectamente porque también lo viví, ahora no estoy en vzla pero este año ha sido rudo el calor en casi toda Sudamérica, creo que por el fenómeno del niño, un niño muy intenso este 2024 😆 espero que este mes todo mejore por allá. Feliz inicio de mes y de semana también @rosylisboa 😊
