The first week of school is over.

The first week is a normal flight.

Hello everyone.

Today marks exactly five days since my son and I switched to online distance learning. The flight is normal, although it is turbulent in places.

The first days were hard. On the fifth day, it's getting easier. I like this format of learning. Especially because you can choose when your son will study. For example, at 9 am, we are still sleeping, instead of getting up at 7 am and getting ready for school. On the contrary, we sleep, then have breakfast, and at 11 am, my son sits down for lessons. I'm also there for now. Maybe I'll sit like this for another week, and then the little one will work through the material on his own.

A lot of material has been added; the lesson takes up to an hour. But I can see that the little one's eyes are burning. He likes physics, biology, chemistry, and geometry. He doesn't like other subjects as much as these. He hasn't started English yet; we're putting everything off until tomorrow. I see how he gets upset sometimes, but his eyes burn because he understands that now everything depends on him. I was pleased to hear this when he was at his grandmother's and expressed his opinion that everything depends on him.

Today we visited our grandmothers and grandfathers. Since there were only four lessons in the schedule, there was time for walks. What did we do at Grandma's? We talked about studying and then played regular cards. Grandma made jam, and Grandpa baked a cake. So the rest of the time we spent drinking tea.

The first week was a normal flight.
That's all for today, until tomorrow.
