Our house is still pretty muddy and our landlord is planning to do some changes there, so there's a possibility for us to stay in this new place for quite a while. It could be months, but who knows.
The place is by the main road, so it's a bit noisy, but im not complaining at all. It has a balcony, and it's a nice place to make my blog. Let me take a quick photo...

It's 5:30 in the morning as I'm writing this. The sky is darker than usual because there's going to be another typhoon. Usually. by this time, I can enjoy the sunrise. I just hope the typhoon won't do severe damage to the affected areas.
Anyway, I'd like to share some activities we did yesterday.

In the morning, my father and I went out to find a place to buy food for our furbabies. Although we went grocery shopping last time, we failed to buy their food because it was too expensive. We know that there are retailers who sell it for a much lower price, just like in our previous place.

Before that, we went to church to light some candles and offer prayers. Despite everything that happened, we're able to survive... and even though we have to start from scratch, we've received support from friends and families.
The church is also around 15 minutes or so away on foot just like from our place, but we're coming from the opposite side. Our original place is near the coastal area, while now it's across the highway and is nearer the city center.
There are shops and a huge local market in the city center, but it could be too chaotic, so we want to check nearby places to get ingredients and other stuff at home.
Luckily, there are such places a couple of minutes away from the church.

This place is where we could buy stuff for the house. My mom and I went there in the afternoon, initially, to buy a storage for our clothes... but our budget was not enough, so we bought small stuff we need for our kitchen and laundry instead. We'd temporarily store our clothes inside the bags our relatives used to send us donated clothes. haha

Then, just a couple of blocks away from the houseware shop, there's a small local market where we can see stores selling fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and all the other common ingredients.
We could also buy food for our furbabies... and it's even much cheaper than the usual store we buy from near our house. It takes around 20 minutes to get to this area from our temporary house on foot, so my father and I decided to walk there early morning if the weather is fine. Otherwise, we'd have to pay to ride either in tricycle or an e-bike.

We got some of our plastic tables and chairs from our house, so we could chill in the balcony at night. The air is cool, although not very good since it's by the road... but it makes a nice hangout place to just sit, watch cars and other vehicles pass by and talk about things.
We lost our TV and all other appliances, and I don't have a computer and stable internet connection to get back to work, yet... so we just chill like this at night.
I'm also in the balcony now blogging on my tablet... Im glad I could save it... I've only paid one month for it, hahaha... xD
If the weather is fine today (which is kind of impossible looking at the skies right now)*, my father would be getting stuff from our house and I'll be checking for cheaper clothes storage somewhere else, and buy stuff we couldn't get yesterday... they're mostly for cleaning.
We're staying in a room inside quite a big house (compared to our house) that's under renovation, so we have to clean the other parts too. It's like we're caretakers for it. We can stay here, but we need to pay the usual rent for our flooded house. That's actually a win for us.
Our landlord is so kind... especially for providing us a place to stay, and helping me and my mom during that day. Other people who lost their houses or whose houses are still unliveable, stay on the streets or in evacuation centers, so we are super grateful to our landlord.
I'll end this post here. It's 6AM, and it's time to clean and prepare breakfast with mom while father goes for a walk with Max... Arashi stays in the room, but he gets more exercise here too.
Thanks for reading snd see you around!!!

Your busiest day in your daily routine.

Sunrise by 5:30am? Here is 5:25am and it's still dark, just the cocks crying everywhere, from the pictures I can see that the area is a very busy place, but ist quite at night or noisy for 24hrs? Because I love it when the night it's calm and I can sleep.
Just manage, your landlord will soon finish the fixing and you will move back
Yes... it's around that time... it's quite dark in this photo because of the gloomy weather. It rained the night before... It is a busy place... and when I took the photos, it was around 7-8PM, so it's technically rush hour... I also prefer a quieter place... I even suggested we go back to the countryside, or go to my father's hometown which is a small city in the next island... hahaha In addition, my mom is already scared to g9 back to our old house... hmmnn
Negros was also affected by Tino and it's so sad that the government couldn't give enough financial aid.
They're only choosing as if not everyone in the area was affected by it...
