Everything blooms later in my garden than in the neighbors. I'm already used to it, but every year I'm still a little nervous - you look at other people's photos, everything is already blooming violently there, and you still have only buds. I think the thing is that our village is blown by the wind from all sides and therefore it is noticeably cooler. While everyone around is already enjoying the flowering to the fullest - we are waiting.
But when everything finally starts to bloom, it's like everything at once and with redoubled strength. And finally the lilac bloomed.
I love lilacs. Not just like a plant in the garden - I really love it. I try to constantly replenish the collection with different varieties, because they are all so different - in color, smell, shape of inflorescences. There is a classic purple, there is a white one, there is such a soft pink that you look and don't believe that it's real. Every time I see a new variety in the kennel, it's very difficult to pass by 😄
But it's not just about beauty. My mother loved lilac very much. And when it blooms, it's always a little about her. The smell of lilac is generally a thing that instantly takes you somewhere far away, to some specific memory. I always have it about mom, about childhood, about something very homely and warm.
That's why there will always be lilacs in my garden. No matter how many varieties there are, there is always a place for one more.
I waited for this year. It's blooming. And it smells like you're standing next to you and you don't want to go anywhere
Congratulations, it blooms now! 🫶 Having a flower in a garden gives you a happy mood, even passersby will appreciate that. 🩷
That was a very beautiful blooming of your flower and no need to feel less happy because yours really blooms so well.
Everything has a right timing, true enough. How does it smell? I have never seen one before.
