Modern teaching

Seven years of break... And it's been a month and a half since I've been lecturing again. I must admit that I am pleasantly surprised how the learning process has changed during my forced pause at work.

I've read a lot about how covid has affected the development of distance education, but only now I see what it looks like. It was a huge leap forward! For a modern student, the online platform is something familiar. But I, who started teaching when I still had to visit the library to prepare for classes, admire what digital technologies have given us.

It's convenient not only for students, but also for teachers. The educational process at our academy includes both classroom and distance learning. This allows me to attend classes two or three times a week without leaving home. It saves not only my time, but also my budget, because I don't need to refuel the car 😉

In addition, the opportunities for the preparation of training materials have greatly expanded. In the past, it was necessary to spend a lot of time to find suitable pictures and schemes for the design of presentations. Now artificial intelligence creates them just for seconds. Since I'm good at Photoshop, I easily bring them to the look I need.

Now I'm exploring the possibilities for creating video presentations. I completed advanced training courses, where we were shown some interesting tools.

The modern learning process requires the teacher to constantly learn too. I'm positive about it. I sincerely believe that when we stop learning new things, our development stops and we begin to... age. Fortunately, my job doesn't leave me a single chance of ageing 😉

Sort:

Not only the education process, but the others have also been changed after pandemic, and will keep up changing 😉

Yes, the pandemic launched mechanisms that quickly and permanently changed our world

There are really a lot of changes in the world today. The modernization and digitalisation of things have even made it more easier and flexible to do things in a better way without too much stress.

Am sure you will keep up faster @torem-di-torem with the way things have changed and are changing

Such an inspiring reflection! It’s amazing how technology has transformed education and made teaching more flexible and creative.
