I used the same mattress in the new Quechua tent, which I used in the cave. It is pleasant. I slept well. I slept for a short time even in the afternoon.
The night was not cold. I slept in a pullover with a blanket. The sunshine made the tent hot in the morning, but later the sky became cloudy, and it is still cloudy. Of course I took off my pullover in the morning. I will put it on again in the evening/night, if the temperature will go down.
Hopefully I can sleep in this tent at least for a few months. We will see how durable it is with constant usage in the rocky semi-desert on South Tenerife.
Especially against the sunshine and against the rain. I read that the rainiest month on Tenerife is December, mostly on North Tenerife.

Quechua is a good brand. I have a pair of their snow boots and a travel backpack and they’ve served me well. If your tent loses its water resistance you can get a can of spray silicone to beef it up. It’s a cheap, easy way to keep dry and protect it from UV.
