During the school vacation period in my country (August and part of September) I had the opportunity to visit different towns in the state of Sucre, although I really like the beach, in fact in the capital of the entity there are beautiful beaches for fun and recreation we opted for regions located in the mountainous area of the state, which in addition to its pleasant and cool mountain climate offer beautiful landscapes to enjoy contact with nature, it is relaxing to enjoy the natural environment and admire the wonder of creation, one of the towns I visited was Los Arroyos, located on the peninsula of Paria, Benitez municipality noted for its agricultural production and excellent geographical location.
Durante el período de vacaciones escolares en mi país (agosto y parte de septiembre) tuve la oportunidad de visitar diferentes pueblos del estado Sucre, aunque me gusta mucho la playa, de hecho en la capital de la entidad hay hermosas playas para la diversión y esparcimiento optamos por regiones ubicadas en el área montañosa del estado, las cuales además de su agradable y fresco clima de montaña ofrecen hermosos paisajes para disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza, es relajante disfrutar el entorno natural y admirar la maravilla de la creación, uno de los pueblos que visité fue Los Arroyos, ubicado en la península de Paria, municipio Benítez que destaca por su producción agrícola y excelente ubicación geográfica.
On the right side of the national highway Carúpano - Güiria, is the church of Our Lady of the Valley in the town of Los Arroyos, according to information provided by an inhabitant of this beautiful town, the church was built during the first government of former President Rafael Caldera (1969 - 1974), the design corresponds to the classic model, with a single tower that in turn serves as a bell tower with triangular termination and covered with tiles, the door is two sheets, made of wood with rectangular designs, the roof is triangular and decorated with tiles at the top.

In 2021 (according to information from a villager) repairs were made to the church building and new decorative elements were added: Columns, cornices, stained glass to the windows, the tank, the side wall and internal decorations, also a small square was built in front of the church, which has several reinforced concrete benches,the beautiful fountain located in the center of the square, a column with triangular termination next to the bell tower, several tubes where the luminaries are and small rectangles on the floor with colored lights that give a great style to this construction; unfortunately I do not have photos of the church before its remodeling, it would have been great to show the before and after of this construction.
El año 2021 (según las información de un habitante del pueblo) se hicieron reparaciones al edificio de la iglesia y se agregaron nuevos elementos decorativos: Columnas, cornisas, vidrios de colores a las ventanas, el tanque, la pared lateral y decoraciones internas, además se construyó una pequeña plaza frente a la iglesia, que cuenta con varios bancos de concreto armado,la hermosa fuente ubicada en el centro de la plaza, una columna con terminación triangular al lado del campanario, varios tubos donde están las luminarias y pequeños rectángulos en el piso con luces de colores que le dan un gran estilo a esta construcción; lamentablemente no tengo fotos de la iglesia antes de su remodelación, hubiese sido genial mostrar el antes y después de esta construcción.
At night the lights of the square create a beautiful and colorful atmosphere, it is also the meeting place and meeting point for friends and family, the effect of the lights on the walls of the church looks spectacular changing its color from white to pink, it was definitely a great experience to visit this beautiful town surrounded by mountains, with my son I could enjoy several adventures, walks and especially the mountain scenery that we like so much, it is very relaxing and fun to visit these spaces where we connect with nature; this town is characterized by the warmth and kindness of its inhabitants, people dedicated to agricultural activities, to see this new structure of the church and the colorful square was very exciting, I really liked the play of light and its beautiful colorful effects.
En la noche las luces de la plaza crean un hermoso y colorido ambiente, además es el lugar de reunión y punto de encuentro para amigos y familiares, el efecto de las luces en las paredes de la iglesia se ve espectacular cambiando su color de blanco a rosa, definitivamente fue una gran experiencia visitar este hermoso pueblo rodeado de montaña, con mi hijo pude disfrutar varias aventuras, paseos y especialmente el paisaje de montaña que tanto nos gusta, es muy relajante y divertido visitar estos espacios donde nos conectamos con la naturaleza; este pueblo se caracteriza por la calidez y amabilidad de sus habitantes, personas dedicadas a las actividades agrícolas, ver esta nueva estructura de la iglesia y la colorida plaza fue muy emocionante, me gustó mucho el juego de luces y sus bellos efectos coloridos

@belkyscabrera, I have only seen the shape of an arrowhead on top of the pillars near the entrance in a few Catholic churches in our country. I find that the color combination of the walls and those towers is a perfect match.
