I'm convinced that's what would have happened to you.
I go there every time, almost every Sunday because there is a small church/monastery very old, where my wife goes to the Sunday religious ritual. I like to go early in the morning when there are very few people on the street, as well as very few cars. Then I imagine that I'm a hundred years ago, I think of the people who passed by, walked on the same streets, and now they are shadows.
