Hello greetings to this beautiful community of *design architecture today I come to talk about a beautiful building called "Torre Filippo Sindoni", better known as the "Torre Sindoni"; which is located in the city of Maracay, Aragua state, Venezuela. This building is named in honor of the Venezuelan Italian businessman Filippo Sindoni Come with me to know its history and what I experienced firsthand when I visited it.
Hola un saludo a esta linda comunidad de diseño arquitectura en el día de hoy les vengo a hablar de una hermosa edificación llamada “Torre Filippo Sindoni”, mejor conocida como la “Torre Sindoni”; la cual queda ubicada en la ciudad de Maracay, estado Aragua, Venezuela. Este edificio es llamado así en honor al empresario italiano venezolano Filippo Sindoni. Acompáñenme a conocer su historia y lo que viví de primera mano cuando la visité.
Do you remember this publication of the cathedral of Maracay? Well, that same day I visited this building with my husband. I enjoyed getting to know this building, which even though it dates back to the 90's, it maintains an elegant and modern air. Let me tell you a little more about it.
The construction of the Sindoni Tower began in January 1993 and was inaugurated in 1999. This skyscraper, an icon of the city, was designed by architect Dalmir Ruiz. It is the ninth tallest tower in Venezuela and one of the most recent high-rise constructions. With its 125 meters and 32 floors, it stands as the tallest building in Maracay and the entire state of Aragua.
¿Recuerdan esta publicación de la catedral de Maracay? Pues ese mismo día visité este edifico con mi esposo. Disfruté conocer esta edificación, que a pesar que data de la década de los 90´s, mantiene un aire elegante y moderno. Les cuento un poco más de ella.
La construcción de la Torre Sindoni fue iniciada en enero del año 1993 y fue inaugurada en 1999. Este rascacielos, ícono de la ciudad, fue diseñado por el arquitecto Dalmir Ruiz. Esta es la novena torre más alta de Venezuela y es una de las más recientes construcciones de altura. Con sus 125 metros y 32 plantas se erige como el edificio más alto de Maracay y todo el estado Aragua.
This tower is designed with a modern avant-garde architectural style that combines the use of glass, brick and very resistant reinforced concrete. This design features glass windows and doors perfect for enjoying the panorama.
Esta torre está diseñada con un estilo arquitectónico moderno de vanguardia que combina con el uso de cristal, ladrillo y concreto armado muy resistente. Este diseño cuenta con ventanillas y puertas de cristal perfectas para disfrutar del panorama.
When I arrived at this tower, I really liked its imposing and elegance. In addition, on the outside it has a wide corridor to walk comfortably. Towards the sides you can see some plants and garden trees that are very well kept and beautiful, which makes it a perfect place to spend a pleasant moment and enjoy the fresh and natural air, especially for those who remain outside while waiting to be served or simply use the tower as a meeting point. We were there for a while and the atmosphere is calm, quiet despite being between two main avenues, such as Bolivar Avenue and Miranda Avenue.
Al llegar a esta torre, me gustó mucho su imponencia y elegancia. Además, en la parte exterior cuenta con un pasillo bastante amplio para caminar cómodamente. Hacia los lados se pueden observar algunas plantas y árboles de jardín que están muy bien cuidados y hermosos, lo que hace que sea un lugar perfecto para pasar un momento agradable y disfrutar del aire fresco y natural, en especial, para aquellos que permanecen en la parte de afuera mientras esperan para ser atendidos o simplemente usan la torre como punto de encuentro. Estuvimos un rato allí y el ambiente es tranquilo, silencioso a pesar de estar entre dos avenidas principales, como son la avenida Bolívar y la avenida Miranda.
After spending some time on the outside, we wanted to see the inside, which has commercial establishments on the first floor, and offices of business and service organizations from the second floor to the 32nd floor. Upon entering this place, on the left hand side, there is a very elegant staircase that leads to the mezzanine where the elevator is located.
Luego de estar un rato en su parte exterior, quisimos conocer su parte interior que cuenta con establecimientos comerciales en la planta baja, y oficinas de organizaciones empresariales y de servicio a partir del primer piso hasta el 32. Al entrar en este lugar a mano izquierda, se encuentra una escalera muy elegante que se dirige a la mezzanina donde se encuentra el ascensor.
Once there we went to the 21st floor. Upon entering there was not much to see, just people working in their offices, what we could see were these photos ....
Una vez estando allí nos dirigimos al piso 21. Al entrar no había mucho que ver, solo personas trabajando en sus oficinas.Lo que si pudimos apreciar fue estas fotos ….
And these captures we made from the northeast part of the city. At the top of the building you can see the city of Maracay in almost all its spaces, the view is incredible and everything looks very beautiful. The people who work there are privileged because from the highest part you can admire the whole city of Maracay. In a next occasion, I could share with you more and better pictures.
Y estas capturas que hicimos de la parte noreste de la ciudad. En la parte de arriba del edificio se puede apreciar la ciudad de Maracay en casi todos sus espacios, la vista es increíble y todo se mira muy hermoso. Las personas que trabajan allí son privilegiados porque desde la parte más alta se puede admirar toda la ciudad de Maracay. En una próxima ocasión, les podría compartir más y mejores fotos.
So we decided to go down, kept walking and found a corridor with some shops and people working in them. The whole place was quite well lit which made it very welcoming for visitors and workers.
After touring this small space, right there, on the bottom floor while we were walking we observed a small showcase containing a model of the Sindoni Tower.
Así que decidimos bajar, seguimos caminando y nos encontramos con un pasillo que en el fondo había algunos locales comerciales y personas trabajando en ellos. Todo el lugar estaba bastante iluminado lo que hace que sea muy acogedor para los visitantes y trabajadores.
Luego de recorrer este pequeño espacio, allí mismo, en la planta de abajo mientras caminábamos observamos una pequeña vitrina que contiene una maqueta de la Torre Sindoni.
In general, this tower is very well preserved and in perfect condition, has good security and maintenance facilities, ideal for customers and visitors. I had the opportunity to be there with my husband and I was pleased because the outside was quite cool and very calm, ideal to contemplate this beautiful structure with a style of elegance that enhances at a glance.
En general, esta torre está muy bien conservada y en perfecto estado, cuenta con unas buenas instalaciones de seguridad y mantenimiento, ideal para los clientes y visitantes. Tuve la oportunidad de estar allí con mi esposo y me agradó porque en la parte de afuera estaba bastante fresca y muy calmado, ideal para contemplar esta estructura tan hermosa con un estilo de elegancia que realza a simple vista.
I could not stop looking at it for its beautiful color that combines with the design. At the top you can see the city much better, unfortunately we did not manage to climb to the top floors, what little we could see of this skyscraper pleased us is the first time we managed to enter was a wonderful tour.
No podía dejar de mirarla por su hermoso color que combina con el diseño. En la parte de arriba se puede ver mucho mejor la ciudad, lamentablemente no alcanzamos a subir hacia los últimos pisos, lo poco que logramos ver de este rascacielos nos agradó es la primera vez que logramos entrar fue un recorrido maravilloso

The Sindoni Tower is an emblem of Maracay, an elegant architectural work, surrounded by a mysticism about failures during its construction but many years have passed and it still stands and thank God for that. It gave me some nostalgia to see it. Greetings and blessings @carmary.
