Such works of Defensive Architecture will always serve as a reminder of the hardships and struggles our grandparents and great grandparents had to endure.
"It traveled the entire coast and its bunkers and trenches were made by all the people who could with the weight of the stones, women, and children participated in a great collective effort of people who were not architects or knew about it, just pure force of will and desire to be free."
I was struck by this, particularly the words " great collective effort." During dire times, our individual talents and skills emerge beyond our imagination and we surprise ourselves with what we're able to achieve together.
Hello friend, if it was a great effort of all the people of the place, it is the good thing that humanity has, that in hardships many of us support each other.
