RE: Sacred architecture of Madrid: the church of San Marcos

Certain. In this sense, Madrid is a true amalgamation of styles, which, although on some occasions it could be said that it hides some to the detriment of others, makes the intention of discovering them a true adventure. Especially if we are talking about architecture and art, because we must take into account, as in this case (by the way, the modern tower that can be seen in one of the photographs, contrasting with the church, is not the Ríu hotel, but the Torre de Madrid) that in a matter of meters, one can easily traverse centuries of architectural history. San Marcos is a temple, simple, in my opinion, compared to many other examples, but without a doubt, it is one of the most beautiful of its kind. As always, thank you for your valuable comments. An affectionate greeting.
