In my country Nigeria and precisely in my State Akwa Ibom State. When they see you raise your phone to take a shot, they give you a stare that can make you pray for the ground to open and swallow you up
Seems like this has become a normal occurrence there. And I'm curious - do the people there always behave that way?
It sure has become the norm because many now do online business while those who are not aware of this thing want to use the picture for something diabolic or negative. So many of us got to be careful, so we are not harassed for taking a harmless picture or so they don't get the phone from us and destroy it thinking we want to do something bad with them.
Okay, I see. Paranoia has certainly crept into people's lives nowadays due to the ease of distribution, replication, and abuse of digital media online. Take care when you capture photos next time and make sure that all your devices are secure. Have a beautiful day!
