Thanks @ninahaskin. Your comment about pets finding us got me to thinking how true that is in Charlie's case. She could have easily wandered farther away from our house but she decided to stay put and cry her heart out loud as if knowing someone from the house was going to get him. He's grown in the two weeks since we adopted him and he's filling up real fast and is now being playful. 😊
