I used to watch Tweety Bird on television. It's one of those wild and whacky Disney cartoons involving a black and white cat named Sylvester and a cute big eyed tweety yellow bird who Sylvester dreamed and schemed about having for a sumptuous meal. Everytime Sylvester thought that he had Tweety trapped, Tweety would go on to say, "I thought I saw a pussy cat." And a wild chase would ensue ending with Sylvester all messed up and broken because Tweety was just too smart for him. Poor puddy tat lol.
Now I was hunting for shadows one afternoon when I accidentally captured the photo below.
Although the shadow reminds one of a duck, somehow I think about it as Tweety's and her famous words about seeing a pussy cat. The reason is there really is a pussy cat!!
Meet Charlie, everyone. He's a recent addition to our home. My wife heard him crying one night outside our house. Apparently, she was abandoned there by her human and she was so small and hungry and crying for fear and food. My wife went out, looked for him and when she found him, took him in, fed him, bathed him and now she's with us. A bubbly caterpillar of a kitty.

Thanks @ninahaskin. Your comment about pets finding us got me to thinking how true that is in Charlie's case. She could have easily wandered farther away from our house but she decided to stay put and cry her heart out loud as if knowing someone from the house was going to get him. He's grown in the two weeks since we adopted him and he's filling up real fast and is now being playful. 😊
