South African schools now open with over a year of education lost, many children have not returned, vandalism encountered at many schools during these lock-downs.
Frustration is clear to see, children cannot cope with these events, especially when adults are hardly able to keep even keeled... Oh for an island away from politicians and media!

It's such a shame what is happening all over the world, so much anger and strife. The children are the ones who are truly suffering. They need stability and routine. I pray our grandchildren get back to school in September, they need to be in the classroom.
That island you wish for...too bad that it's just a dream.

Young ones coming up now really will know a different world, perhaps they will cope better than we are, time will tell.
