In the Middle of the Night
A couple of nights ago, I went to bed late, couldn't get to sleep, and decided to watch TV, looking for something good. Watching TV makes me fall asleep. While this was happening, I watched a couple of movies, and I didn't feel sleepy at all. I decided to get out of bed and make myself a glass of warm milk to relax a little.

En Medio De La Noche
Hace unos un par de noches me acosté tarde, después no podía conciliar el sueño, y decidí mirar la TV, buscando alguna programación buena. Ver la televisión hace que me quede dormida. Mientras esto ocurría, vi un par de películas, y nada de sueño. Opté por pararme de la cama y prepararme un vaso de leche tibia, para relajarme un poquito.
So midnight arrived, and I couldn't sleep. While I was looking for a place to sleep, I tossed and turned. When I was finally able to settle down, during one of my turns in bed, I landed on my back, and that woke me up again, as I could see the shadow on the ceiling. I couldn't pass up this opportunity, even though it would keep me awake. I got up very quickly to look for my cell phone, which I charge at night, and I managed to catch these midnight shadows, in the midst of a battle with sleep.
Así llegó la medianoche y no podía dormir. Mientras buscaba acomodo, daba vueltas para allá y para acá. Cuando ya pude estar más tranquila, en una de mis vueltas en la cama quede boca arriba y eso me volvió activar, ya que pude observar en el techo la sombra que se distinguía, no podía dejar pasar esta oportunidad, aunque me desvelará, me pare muy activa a buscar mi celular que lo pongo a cargar en las noches y pude lograr cazar estas sombras de media noche, en medio de una batalla con el sueño.
Well, for me, these moments are always an adventure. I'll be able to sleep at any time of day. I won't say that the shadow keeps me awake at night. But they are the source of my joy.
Bueno, estos instantes para mí, los vivo siempre como una aventura. Ya podré dormir en cualquier momento del día. No voy a decir que la sombra me quito el sueño. Pero si son las causas de mis alegrías.
