Reflection Hunters Contest - Round 242
Last September, I was blessed to celebrate my 61st birthday, and although that number may seem large, inflated, or even somewhat scandalous, the reality is that I don't perceive it that way. On the contrary, it seems to be the world around me that is aging.
Since it was a weekday and we had to get up early for work the next morning, my mother, my sister, her husband, and her son decided to surprise me with dinner at a well-known social club in the city, of which my brother-in-law is a member.
As has been my habit lately, I didn't miss the opportunity to take photos, not only to immortalize this pleasant moment, but also to participate in the different weekly photography challenges in this ecosystem, as is the case with these reflections I captured of my nephew and a few objects on the table where we sat that night.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Concurso de Cazadores de Reflejos - Ronda 242
El pasado mes de Septiembre, tuve la bendición de celebrar mi cumpleaños número 61, y aunque tal vez la cantidad pueda lucir grande, abultada, o incluso, algo escandalosa; la realidad es que no lo percibo de esa manera, por el contrario, pareciera ser el mundo a mi alrededor el que envejece.
Como era día de semana y a la mañana siguiente tocaba levantarse temprano para trabajar; mi madre, hermana, su esposo y su hijo decidieron sorprenderme con una cena en un reconocido club social de la ciudad, del cual mi cuñado es miembro.
Como ha sido usual en mí en los últimos tiempos, no pierdo la oportunidad de tomar fotos, no sólo para inmortalizar este grato momento, sinó también para participar en los diferentes desafíos fotográficos semanales de este ecosistema, como es el caso de estos reflejos que capturé de mi sobrino y de los objetos sobre la mesa en la cual nos sentamos aquella noche.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
