Hoy fue un día cualquiera, un jueves como muchos otros, pero también fue un buen día ¿Tuvo algo de especial? No realmente, pero recordando algo que leí un estado de whatsapp hace un tiempo, y que eventualmente recuerdo para tratar de reflexionar en esa verdad es, que si tengo un techo bajo el cual dormir, algo de ropa que ponerme, algo que llevarme a la boca para comer, no estoy descalza y tengo a alguien que me quiera, entonces estoy bien.
Today was just an ordinary day, a Thursday like many others, but it was also a good day Was there something special about it? Not really, but remembering something I read a whatsapp status a while back, and eventually remember to try to reflect on that truth is, if I have a roof to sleep under, some clothes to wear, something to put in my mouth to eat, I'm not barefoot and I have someone to love me, then I'm okay.
Así es, así que teniendo todo eso, y estando bien, entonces hoy es un buen día😉. Además, vivo en una ciudad calurosa, donde normalmente hace mucho sol, pero hemos tenido unos días algo lluviosos y un poco oscuros. Pero hoy hace un sol radiante 🌞. No había salido de casa, pero cuando lo hice, el resplandor de una hermosa tarde me dio dosis de energía.
That's right, so having all that, and being well, then today is a good day😉. Also, I live in a hot city, where it's usually very sunny, but we've had a few days that have been a bit rainy and a bit dark. But today it's bright sunshine today 🌞. I hadn't left the house, but when I did, the glow of a beautiful afternoon gave me doses of energy.
Al salir y contemplar los vivos colores de los alrededores, y las majestuosas sombras de las palmeras y otras plantas me llenó de admiración, y como no conservar este momento. Por eso, aprovecho para compartir con ustedes mis sombras de un jueves por la tarde.
Siguiendo el hilo del poema maorí citado arriba, se me acaba de ocurrir uno propio:
sal al sol y crea tu propia sombra"
El sol no solo nos dará esa sombra que nos seguirá a todas partes, sino que nos ayudará a producir la vitamina D que tanto necesitamos para mantener nuestro sistema oseo sano, porque ayuda absorver el calcio de los alimentos. Así que si eres como yo, que pasas mucho tiempo en casa, por una razón u otra. Tómate tu tiempo, y sal al sol, lo disfrutarás y recobrarás las energías que necesitas para retomar tu día a día.
Going out and contemplating the vivid colors of the surroundings, and the majestic shadows of the palm trees and other plants filled me with admiration, and how not to preserve this moment. So, I take this opportunity to share with you my shadows of a Thursday afternoon.
Following the thread of the Maori poem quoted above, I just came up with one of my own:
go out into the sun and create your own shadow "
The sun will not only give us that shade that will follow us everywhere, but it will help us produce the vitamin D that we need so much to keep our bone system healthy, because it helps absorb calcium from food. So if you're like me, you spend a lot of time at home, for one reason or another. Take your time, and get out in the sun, you will enjoy it and regain the energy you need to get back to your day to day life.
