Era una giornata importante al lavoro, dovevo fare una presentazione per cercare di avere dei finanziamenti per la ricerca, mi ero impegnata moltissimo in quel progetto insieme ai miei colleghi e non potevamo fallire, da quell'incontro dipendeva il nostro futuro. Quella mattina decisi di prendere il treno per non rischiare di restare bloccata nel traffico, e arrivai anche con discreto anticipo. Ma il treno non arrivava, non era possibile, dicevano che forse c'era stato un incidente. Poi lo vidi in lontananza e tirari un sospiro di sollievo: si sa, certi treni passano una volta soltanto....
