If You Are Crazy About Shadow Hunting, You Can Find Them Even In Hospital!

If you love shadow hunting as much as I do, then you can find them even in a hospital, and this is my entry to OCD Community Boost Contest #8: Highlighting Shadow Hunters.

When I read about the Ocd 's generous idea about the special contest for the Shadow Hunters Community, I started thinking hard about my participation. "Show Your Day in Shadows" sounded so interesting! But... but, honestly, my first feeling was disappointment - I have been in hospital for more than a month and have no chance to leave it for a week or longer. What shadows can I find here? Thank you dear @melinda010100 that you pushed me to participate with my hospital shadows which I have found a lot - absolutely unexpectedly!

So, my 38th day at hospital started, and the first shadows of the day were these very simple ones in my room (the picture above). Could be disappointing but I decided not to leave my decision and try around.

A bit later, after breakfast, the sun got brighter, and I helped it to produce the shadows below.

This is a thing which helps me train my breathing ability.

Before breakfast, I did my breathing exercise and had a slow (cannot walk fast yet) walk along the passage and, oh my luck, some great shadows in the common area!

A surprise was waiting for me at the end of the passage.

My way back along the corridor (or is it better to call it "passage"?). The light here does not produce good shadows, unfortunately.

A picture of the common area on my return shows the equipment for "running" with a very small shadow. Well, it is better less than nothing. ☺

A bit later, my rehabilitation physical education instructors took me there for the first time. Here I had some exercise and got some shadows.

I am happy to be able to stars this training apparatus but have still been weak. My today's achievement was to walk 200 meters!😁 I am sure it will be a longer distance tomorrow!

One of my instructors helped me with this picture. Thank you dear Vera!

At the daytime, I took another walk along the corridor and got some new findings.

I like this coloured shadow of the reflector.

A small window in a dark place gave me another shot.

Here are the things which gave the birth to these shadows, well and my head also participated. :-)

Watching the outside changing through the hospital window.

Here is my experience with watching the changes in the picture in he window of my room during the day. I was very lucky that the day was bright. It was interesting to see how shadows change their length shapes and directions.

And, to finish the day, here are some pictures of my late evening room full of shadows. 🙂

And finally a picture with not many shadows but a very nice person in it - my hospital roommate Õie, who is 90, but will you believe?! She is very positive in everything despite her serious illnesses, active, wise and bright.

I hope you liked my Day in Shadows. At least, for me that was an amazing day which added much fun to my routine hospital life. 😁 💞

All the pictures in this post (but one with me) were taken by me on my telephone Huawei P9 and published via @ecency.

I am very grateful for your support, dear @pixresteemer

I KNEW you could do it! A master Shadow Hunter, for sure! Finding shadows under adverse circumstances shows a true talent. Keep getting stronger, my friend!

😁😁😁 Many, many thanks again @melinda010100!
Do you remember your suggestion to involve the staff? I had some funny moments when I tried to do that. One of the nurses heard my talk with another medical worker and got angry. She sad that I have no right to take pictures inside the department because it may hurt them somehow. It took me time to calm her and explain but I am sure she still doesn't understand why I was doing that "stupidity". She is the oldest one here with very old and strict point of view and, luckily, the only one. The others liked my pictures when they saw them. 😁😁😁❤

I am sorry the old nurse got angry! I hope she doesn't think that they will be caught doing something wrong. I'm pretty sure these days she can't stop people from taking photos. I'm glad the others liked your photos,

Please do not feel sorry, that was just what I expected, and it was funny to see that reaction. 😁
